i gotta say im glad that there's now a port of this and now i don't have to deal with glitchy levels in newer versions or having to play on an older one.

Hi so this is kind off unrelated but can anybody share an all emeralds save file? I accidentally deleted mine and I don't very much want to repeat the whole thing especially with the buggy saves that doesn't even sometimes save the emeralds I got after a stage

Do not beg for mods. If you want something, use the wiki to learn how to make it yourself.
I assumed that was by design, no?

My only suggestion for these sections, and I dont even know if its possible to implement, is for Neo Sonic to enter Boost mode

I present to your attention the official port of this level pack.

I have long wanted to make a port of this levelpack, because at the moment, the port that wanders in YouTube (I found the author already, he is in credits, you can check), it is unfinished and there were a lot of bugs. And, to be honest, there are not so many ports of level packs, and this is my first experience in this business.

Features of this port:

  • Fixed many visual bugs.
  • Completed paths for Fang and Amy.
  • Reimagined menu with fully working saves and emblems.
  • Arranged new monitors on maps to make the gameplay more varied.
  • Completely redesigned hints.
  • The script for Mach Speed has been rewritten, and a new script has been added in which all non-spin characters can do water skim by Sonic1983.
  • Optimization (Kind of, tbh)
  • Sound Test (lol)

Known Issues:
Still Bad Optimization, sorry - Yes, this port still has unoptimized levels in Software mode, I tried to optimize Flame Core and Tropical Jungle, but with Tropical Jungle there are still serious FPS issues that are still not understood. If possible, we will try to optimize these levels in the future.

Hints don't work in Netplay - We will also try to fix it if we succeed, but for now we advise you to first play this level pack in Singleplayer, if you are familiar with it for the first time.

Changelog:
Version 1 - Release.
Version 1.01 - Fixed alternate viewpoint for Emerald Door in Crisis City.
Version 1.02 - Fixed The "ACWRFL1A" and "Sector Height" in Tropical Jungle issues.
Version 1.03 - Improved some hints and fixed springs (also mod version fixed too lol).

Some good addons for more good experience:
Modern Monitors by Demnyx Onyxwing - https://mb.srb2.org/showthread.php?t=46622
Since old modern monitors have been removed (cause that's just outdated lol), I decided to include this updated add-on as recommended in order to provide the player with a choice, why not.

Sonic '06 Gem Powers by Alien Crime Lord - https://mb.srb2.org/showthread.php?t=51024
Cool mod for those who want to have some fun after completing the game with all emeralds. All instructions on how to enable Gems are in the thread of this addon.

Footsteps by Gomynola - https://mb.srb2.org/showthread.php?t=49719
I included this addon because it has full support for this level pack, which gives you the full opportunity to enjoy pleasant footsteps sounds.

Installation (Read this first to run this level pack properly):

Since this whole addon weighs ~100 MB, and it is allowed to put files up to a maximum of 64 MB, I divided it into 2 parts.

First part - The whole addon, but no music.
Second part - All music from this addon.

Here's a small guide on how to install these 2 add-ons so that they work together normally:

1) Run SL_2006music.pk3 first.
2) Then run SL_2006(Some version).pk3.
3) Done!

Credits:

  • Sonic1983 (Improved Mach Speed script and Water Skim for all non-spin characters.)
  • Ketchup (Ultimate Machine for Testing)
  • yfyfyfyfyfy (Helped with Sound Test and Updated Hints)
  • Nibroc Rock (Sonic Man render)
  • STHE123O (Gave me permission for the port of this level pack and also helped a little with testing this port)
  • Lach (Skateboard Lua)
  • BlueBlurForever (Old Mach Speed Lua)
  • CZ64 (Riders sprites)
  • Inazuma (Shadow/Mephlies sprites)
  • jeka450 Mint Tails (Original port from STHE123O YouTube video.)

Rule 15.Do not ask people to make things for you, or request certain mods or features.

Read the rules before saying those things ok?

+I dont think he has permission to port srb2 heroes since it isnt reusable
Well, I heard that someone else is doing the SRB2 Heroes port.
Also:
- I don't really interested in SRB2 Heroes port.
- Author of this pack (STHE123O) doesn't really care about ports iirc tho. So, you just can try to port it yourself...? (Or just try Golden Shine port lol. I can't say that this port is good, but at least you can just try out the levels there.)

I'm running into a problem I didn't have with this pack before 2.2.10: some stages do not play the correct music. So far the only ones I know have this issue are Crisis City and Radical Train, both of the songs on those stages play White Acropolis music. I've never had the time to play this mod further than that, so I don't know if any of the other songs are mixed up.

Hm, that's weird.
I changed in SOC from musicslot to music to make work all music correctly.
I check out this later.

Since I'm curious, will the Goal Ring Mod start functioning after you finish update 1.1.4?

I completely forget about this issue each time I have the chance to talk about it. I wanted to comment on a problem with characters that are too tall to complete White Acropolis and Flame Core!
As it turns out, some characters either don't lower their size when in a spin state for one reason or another, be it intentionally or not (such as Bowie or Derp where it seems unintentional, meanwhile characters like Iclyn or Espio who have it intentionally). Because of that issue, those characters... End up pretty much unable to finish the zones I mentioned.
I was wondering if it was possible to edit the levels to include a path for characters that can't go through spin gaps? Maybe a breakable floor of some kind, since most of the characters unable to go through spin-required paths tend to be able to break floors.

Aside from this though, I still love this level pack despite some nitpicks of mine. Thank you for porting it!

It will be 1.2 version update, and yes, Goal Ring mod should be work fine after this update (because there will be just Sign Post in each level instead lol).

I just remove all these spin gap places in the next update to make things for non-spin chars easier.
I'll do that because I don't see any sence of having these spin gaps in this level pack.

This level pack is amazing, but there's one problem: It lags like crazy. I hope this is something you can fix, but I'm not sure. I have the compiled version of 2.2.10 for Android, in case you're wondering. I only managed to complete this level pack one time, and that was with Adventure Sonic the same day the character was released, and even in 2.2.9 it lagged like crazy.

EDIT: I had less lag playing on Software mode, but even then it's still present.

As far as I know, Official Mobile Support from vanilla SRB2 was dropped, and as a result it likely has from mods as well. You'd have better luck playing 2.2.10 on an actual computer instead of android, as the potential differences aren't as likely to be dealt with.

Ah, piss.

Remember when I said I had only completed this level pack once? Well, I also kinda cheated using the getallemeralds command. Today, I completed this pack again, this time without cheats, but also all emeralds. I also used three characters (normal Sonic, Shadow, and Silver) alongside the 1.09.4 Adventure Mode port, Many Minor Tweaks, and a couple other stuff. I would like to suggest some ideas for whatever big update you have planned.

1. A new boss over the Egg Slimer. More specifically, the Egg Colosseum since the arena is in the shape of a colosseum anyway.
2. Make the emeralds easier to find.(That's why I used the getallemeralds command)
3. Visually revamp the levels to be more in line with 2.2's artstyle.(The Mephilles boss especially.)

1.yea i think egg collosseum would fit better than slimer
2.okay mate thats just an skill issue theyre hard to find for a reason and its an good feeling when you find them
3.this is a port of an old mod not a remake

1. I thought so too. Apparently, the Egg Cerberus boss from the actual Sonic 06 is as challenging as the Egg Colosseum. And people hated both.
2. Fortunately for me YouTube tutorials on finding those damn emeralds exist.
3. Well it would still be nice if the textures got a makeover to fit the 2.2 artstyle. I never said to overhaul the level layouts.
