After about a year of hard work (and procrastination), Soap the Hedge is finally here!Soap features many different abilities, all of which work together to make Soap the fastest thing alive!
Bounce
Press Spin while jumping to bounce like a rubber ball!
But beware! Bouncing multiple times consecutively will lower your height gained, and even stopping you from bouncing at all!
Spring Recurl
Upon springing, you can press Spin to recurl into a ball, allowing you to use your Jump Thok!
Recurl as soon as you spring, and you'll get some extra height AND Dashmode!

Got thrown off a cliff, or just wanna get up quick? Well, have I got the thing just for you! Wait about half a second (or just look for the glow), and press Jump! You'll be back on your feet in no time!

Soaps can attract rings, even without an Attraction Shield! This makes collecting rings a bit easier at the speeds you'd be traveling. Rings, monitors, weapon rings, and weapon panels all give you points, regardless of gametype! In Ringslinger gametypes, this can let you win passively!
Experiencing lag when adding Soap? Try disabling Soap's ring pull MobjThinkers with
soap_mobjthinkers ring_pull, though this can only be toggled by admins.Dashmode is a major component for Soap! All of his actions, be it uncurling, airdashing, recurling, or just running with Super Sneakers, give some amount of Dashmode! Build enough Dashmode, and you'll enter Mach 4! "What is Mach 4?', you might be asking... Well, it makes you invincible, kills stuff on contact, and breaks spikes! Mach 4 is indicated by the red and green afterimages being emitted from Soap. There is no limit on your Dashmode, meaning you can build as much of it as you can!
Soap even has support for Sol Forms, Footsteps, Cosmetics, RushChars Jetski sprites, my Pizza Tower-styled Afterimages mod, BattleMod, and Chrispy Chars Tricks!
Cosmetics
Soap has several cosmetic commands prepacked into his .pk3! You can access the cosmetics menu next to an activated Starpost by pressing Spin and C3. Any skin can open this menu!Not only does this menu hold Cosmetics, it also has toggles for stuff like Rolltrol, and even some admin stuff! Having trouble opening the menu? Try using
soap_cos_menu when the bar is filled to open the Cosmetics Menu. Admins can use this command at any time.Since Soap is silly overpowered, I made the choice of nerfing him to be easy to fight against. You can still use all of your base abilities, except your Jump Thok is replaced with a single-use Homing Thok. If you are in a particularly large space, you can build Mach 4 and kill all that stand in your way! Soap uses Sonic's Battle moveset, so you can tie both together in some really neat ways to absolutely dominate everyone in the server!
Admins can toggle this nerf with
While nerfed, Soap has a max speed of 36 FRACUNITS/tic. Because of this, afterimages are now easier than ever to make! If you are above your max speed while nerfed, you'll emit afterimages, and kill anyone on contact! How cool is that?
Soap still retains his Battle moveset while buffed, but now you can enjoy his regular max speed of 64 FRACUNITS/tic with an unlimited Homing Thok.
Admins can toggle this nerf with
