I realize about you all that I'm boring you with my mod...BUT...This update should shock you to the max. Even some people using me through Sonic Robo Blast 2 Discord server got the alpha version of Thu. Which was with DLC (which was canceled due to cooperation with this horrible man. His character). At least. You'll find out what's in it. For people like him. But come on. Let's move on to abilities.


History(Legacy):

The character used to be human. But in the end his reality changed. His soul was inhabited by a computer. And that's how he got into the world. Changing himself in code and ended up trapped. He is now 28,000 years old.

Abilities 4.0



1. Abilities:


Some people will be glad I renamed Ability. But on the other hand. I'm going to upset you. But it was done for "balance of the universes." Like Float Dash is - Horizontal Dash. Gravity jump - Vertical Dash


Horizontal Dash:

This is dash in speed's like Thok. Like...This is Moddified Thok.

Sickle Slash:

How Sword Slash(Legacy Version). Just press spin a unleash strong slash.

Plasma Attack:

After Sickle Slash. How in legacy. When spindash is pressed, you can ibo charge an attack. Ibo cause an attack. In this way an aura appears. When you release this button you hit so also shoot Plasma. If further in the Plasma Attack, there appears a ghost, which gives a sign that you have charged the Plasma Attack. Thus it shoots a huge Plasma. Which deals only 2 damage on the bosses.

Shields:

There are also custom shields. But I will not show them. See for yourself. They have different abilities. To make a long story short. After Gravity Jump. Shield functionality happens. One gives you telekinesis, which stops you. Others don't do the usual bounce. Which you then save the Gravity Jump itself.

Combo System:

Dodges:

Worked how in legacy version. In stand custom 2 + side of the walk.
The reversals remained the same. But they are now you cannot be infinitely in invisibility. Now you have to really calculate


And you're asking me. What's that strip with the word: Determination. ?

It's a new ability. Determination works as double damage. It needs to be filled to activate.

The endorsements haven't changed. But new mechanics and new gimmicks have been added. Player and boss health appeared. It's a similar system from the new TMNT Shredder's Revenge. But in a Sonic-esque style.

You will have to collect as in Rush Chars from the bosses stones.

After you have collected these stones. Now you can become an Arma Form. With the help of 150 rings.

Battle Mode:


Light Burst:

Virtually nothing has changed except for Light Burst.

Now it's not buggy, but it's bigger. Animation also changed.


Energy Plasma:

Energy Plasma didn't change much either, except for the aura.


RingSlinger Neo:

Here I can tell you. It used to be a support for Zombie Escape. Srb2 Master Server. But now it and added here.


Hell Revolver:

A hell of a gun that shoots FireBall's.

Hell Sniper Rifle:

This is how Rail ring. But the reloading of the shot is big. When there are fewer cartridges. This weapon increases cooldown.

Persona:

I'll be honest with you. I've known him for a long time. But because of the bugs I gave it up. Now I'm back and thanks to someone like Hajime. Support for 1.0/2.0/3.0. So basically everything is the same. But the animation has changed and some fittings have been removed.

Used the same offsets as in 3.0. But used the new offsets as well. I decided to use sprites from Sonic.exe 2d Disaster remake game for the sake of one fitch. Which you will find out for yourself. This is for you...such a hint

I think that's all I can tell you. This project has been three months in the making. I thought the usual 6-9 months. But no. What I wanted or canceled is done. I want when you play the mod. To be excited about this project. Wish me well, not bad. Because... I'm gonna be off the internet soon because of school. But next summer maybe I'll be back. MAJOR GLOW UP

Genuinely, this update has made this mod more peak than most of the stuff from the recent direct!

I think the most notable parts of the bosses, and how you changed up how the bosses play out entirely, genuinely a grand update and i am looking forward to any stuff you make in the future

Oh man that was such a cool feature, that made me have him on my server, what a shame, now he wont be coming back.))

Used to be my favorite character for a long time, and althought i left him for a longer time than what i been using him because several reasons.

Like not being able to go super if you have over 200 rings, and dont have the Balls yet.

The save often breaking, leading to the first issue.

Having a lot of files making up for a character as heavy as 20MB (like, why, ease with the files, or compress the audio or something, please).

I can't even begin to describe how much I LOVE. THIS. MOD!!

Having already played versions close to release, there wasn't much new to me, but that doesn't take away from how amazing this mod is.

The title screen, for starters, absolutely blew me away. The background, the animation of Scarf swinging his sickles, everything about it feels so GOOD.

The gameplay itself is awesome too; Scarf's abilities flow so well in a game like SRB2. It's easy to pick up speed and just challenging enough to maintain it, and that's how it should be. I also like being able to toggle between vertical and horizontal movement, in my opinion every character should have both vertical options and horizontal options. It's the perfect balance.

Onto the sprites, well, not much to say other than OH MY GOD. THEY'VE IMPROVED SO MUCH SINCE V3!! I ESPECIALLY LOVE HIS RUNNING ANIMATION, IT FITS HIM SO WELL

This mod might be my all-time favorite for now, it just works in so many ways. Keep up the good work, Scarf!!

I can say that the abilities are alright though a bit generic I don't see why people are criticizing you mostly about the design of your OC. One more thing I'll also call out is why this archive is so big because I honestly ain't seeing *too* much.

lets start with what i dont like from eh to bad.1: the wolf has hedgehog eyes like why, and his snout his small. 2: the vertical agility should be first (yet you complain about flying characters). 3: hes edgy, basically your whole rant on flying characters but generic edgy characters and how they are overused. and now the good 1: he basically has a gun and it makes bosses fun(except ones the could do better if the up ability thing again). 2: the weird plastic sword bat thing was replaced to something that doesn't look like a happy meal toy. scarf the hedge-wolf-hog is pretty good, so il end this with your popular quote that you used twice for two character addons by the same person: Terrible character....

This is a great character, that also explains on why this version is also an improvement over the old versions that got released around 2022, judging on how he used to have a sword, and now he has a sickle, the best part is, that he is able to fling badnicks after he hits them, which it made me laugh a lot after i ended up fighting eggman while playing as him, just to fling him into the sky and watch eggman admit defeat after he got flinged.

Pretty solid! I only have a few criticisms.

First off, the praise. I love the sound design! The whirs as you approach dashmode really add to the vibe you seem to be aiming for with Scarf as a character. I'm also a pretty big fan of his moveset in general. The Float Dash and Gravity Jump being arranged the way they are leads to a really unique flow between them that really adds to the feel of the gameplay. And, lastly, while I don't quite understand the decision to change the music out - as SRB2's existing soundtrack is probably my favorite of any Sonic game, official or not - your choices of music were all solid (with maybe the exception of Fang's theme, as STT16B's version is shorter than SRB2's and is generally a bit underwhelming for a full fight.)

My only real gripe is the animations. The spritework itself, while not quite as solid as the vanilla stuff, is still quite good and fits in pretty nicely. However, the slashing animation being constrained to just a vertical swing lessens the impact quite a bit - I'd recommend changing it to be more diagonal, but I understand that can be difficult to animate from some angles. Scarf's idle animation is also about the same as Sonic's animation, which detracts a bit from his personality. I'm also not personally a fan of the taunt he can do with the Toss Flag key - I don't know if it's an inside joke or anything, but I personally think it detracts from the personality of the character, which I think is the difference between poor and well-done executions of the concept.

Overall, as I stated before, this is a really good mod! My gripes aside, the flow and feel of Scarf's moveset more than make up for the few flaws the character has. He may well earn a spot among my favorite modded characters for SRB2!
