I've been unreasonably, yet respectfully hyped about sol sest 2 since the first time I played it, I can't WAIT for part 2, and will be thoroughly pleased no matter what happens, Egg TV network (OLDC 22 round 2 submission) introduced me to the cool song near the end and up to it, during the final segment, and I've been jamming it out to that song regularly since I first heard it.

I can't WAIT.
(I played it first under a year ago, so haven't bee waiting that long)

this level pack even got me to watch all of IMP, as well as watching the dissected series.

this post is a ramble, sorry about that, I'm just really hyped for part 2.

Yeah, still working on Sol Sestancia 2, sorry it's taking longer then I anticipated.
Here's some screenshots on what I have been working on recently for it.

It's good, take you time cuz it's gonna be worth it. I mean between srb2, animations and your own personal life, it's understandable that it takes time.
 
Yeah, you make THE best parodies, the most story in depth maps in all of srb2 modding! This took like what, four years already, and in terms of modding community, it seems to be really big for this year in srb2 modding community. Anyways back to topic, what you described is so ambitious (because for srb2 modding, it really is) and a bit goofy-like which is why I loved all your maps! Anyways keep up the good work! Same reason why I love your parodies with favourite being ironicly enough, Sonic Forces. Then the chaotix (jp&us) were legendary, which same thing can be said for all the parodies...

I remember the first video of Roger i saw was sonic mania in 6 minutes, and yeah, his levels are great, exploiting well srb2 linear potentiel, but also rewarding players if yet, they want a little bit to explore, plus i feel with these screenshots that the quality improved.

Subtitles and fixups

Long time coming, but here's an update I promised last year.
Biggest upgrade is the inclusion of subtitles, now you can finally read what nonsense these badly accented voices buried under loud music were spouting.

There's some audio changes, the AI voices are all replaced by human voices, had to replace Robotnik's theme music since they got copyright issues on Youtube,
A custom themed donated by Zescrew2 replaces them.

A problem I have with the mod isn't really the maps or anything but the save files. I was confused when my number of saves went as high as 29 so I just deleted them but turns out, those were just the saves from this mod's sequel, the numbers were just right to be used for both games even if the ones from the latter couldn't be used by the former. A shame I lost those saves though... :dramahog:

Brand new secret level, new optional side routes, emblem hunting.
Changed the music in the port level since it was copyright sensetive.
So re-download the music file as well.

Hi, I'm Youtube's Rogerregorroger, maker of cartoons and discussion video's. I noticed I got increasingly cynical and bitter when thinking of Sonic's future, so figured making my own level mod within my favorite Sonic fangame would be a nice therapy.

-What's this?
It's kind of an homage to the 3d platformer and RPG hybrids you got in the late 90's and early 2000's like Megaman Legends, Mystical Ninja starring Goemon and Sonic Adventure.
Also these games that relied more on texture work rather then complex 3d modeling for their graphics, creating this effect you were walking inside of a cartoon. Like in Fur Fighters, Red The Hunter, Wild Riders.
So, very story/ context driven, so much it feels more like you're bouncing around one giant island rather then merely going trough disconnected levels.

There's 10 levels. 2 RPG ish explore area's, 7 "normal" platform levels, one hidden. And one level where you just run like mad.

-What's the story?
The island of Sol Sestancia is nearing it's 100th anniversary and is organizing many events to celebrate. The Catering is organized by..Eggman enterprises. That can't be good. Time to figure out what's really going on.

There's technically supposed to be cutscenes between every level to push the story forward but I gave up on getting that to work.
I'l include the cutscenes in a let's play I'll do of this level pack later on.

Yeah, sure, knock yourself out. It's messy, tough.

Nah, I'll consider it complete. Altough I might come back and fix up a few things when I learn new tricks when I work on part 2.
Particularly the audio and replacing some npc's with sprites when i figure out how to do that.

Damn it, Youtube, that is not so fair, the Boss theme from Sonic The Hedgehog Classic hack would had been more fit for him.

it appears that one of the characters that you can interact with didn't get any subtitles... they also didn't get recast and still uses an ai voice

on a side tangent related to this level, why does rouge sound like a stereotypical pearl clutching rich lady. it like, doesn't really fit her personality and kinda just weirds me out
