It's been purposefully been like that since the 2.2.9 update.

i posted this like, the day it released. this was much more basic when it originally launched, only containing ssnsonic, who was just a sonic reskin

SSNSonic feels so weird with character angle set to movement. I'm so used to just staring at the back of his head!

I'm someone who used analog mode (since I'm not good at first person shooters), I'm used to it.

A musical surprise

Update 8.1:
SURPRISE! The trio (save for the SSNSonic straight port) now has its own specific jingles for anything you can think of (Including the Super Star from Mario)! They're basically from older versions of SRB2, taken straight out of 2.1.25. MIDIs included!

On top of that, the Special Stages now play most of the Mystic Realm songs when you play as any of the characters, just like 2.1!

You can turn it all off with the "characterjingles on/off" command if you'd like. Other than...

I might be wrong about this, but iirc I remember hearing from somewhere that tails while under the effects of a sneaker monitor was able to run on water back in pre 2.2 versions of the game and normally wasn't able to reach running speeds naturally.


idk about knuckles, my best assumption is balancing reasons
