I like this mod, but I think there should be a lite mod that is just the momentum changes and not the character changes and stuff. Also, what is the point of vanilla sonic other than to be passive-aggressive?

Vanilla Sonic only role in XMomentum being a stupid joke for people who defends the Thok being not-op.
ergo: if you like Vanilla Sonic so much, you will miss all this other stuff (as i see it obviously)

That model ain't supported try typing in console blues hoes off or edit the models dat with a new model with the name of the blue shoes tails skin

ok, so I was just gliding around as knuckles and THIS HAPPENED
srb20002.gif

And then I did it again but I still had no rings and uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
srb20004.gif

It's a funny glitch to do, but it was kinda disorienting at first (especially because it only happens when he's in his falling state after a glide). Could you please patch this in the next build?

The Game crashes sometimes when you are in Ringslinger and Someone that was a spectator join the game
Before this, a error spam in the console:

If I may offer a small bit of criticism, I'd recommend implementing commands that allow users to turn certain functions off. For instance, I absolutely love the character changes and momentum mechanics, but the trick system makes this mod visually incompatible with mod characters. Yes, some characters have been created/updated with XMomentum support, but the majority (especially a lot of legacy characters) have not.

To expand upon that, some of the new character abilities seem completely incompatible with most 3D model packs, so I have to automatically pass on this for my own sanity (looking at 2D sprites on a 3D plane makes my head hurt).

I've noticed this too, but in my case, the models tended to freeze in a certain pose, like with the amycopter move, she would freeze in the standing pose, facing the camera.

I believed this is caused by XMomentum adding new sprite "IDs"/states for certain characters (such as Amycopter, ALL the trick fail frames, etc.). This is not an issue XMomentum's responsible for, if that's the case. That'd be more of a concern for the model maker.

Even so, being able to toggle certain aspects would be nice. I physically cannot play this game without the models, so being able to disable the incompatible character abilities would help a lot for me.

I'd just like to recommend this mod, then. If you just want the momentum part, here you go.

I agree that it's most likely new animation ID/states causing it. I personally don't mind it, as I'm happy the game doesn't crash when it happens.

I can't really offer a move that Amy could have that would be better than Amycopter, but I really dislike the Amycopter, it feels exactly like a thok. You gain momentum from a standstill and while moving. I just don't understand why she has it or needs it or why it works. And no i'm not saying Sonic is realistic by the way.
Post automatically merged:

I played Sonic with actionspd 40 jumpthok and it was fun, especially with cobalt momentum, spindash + jumpthok being really useful in red volcano, and i liked keeping the momentum and jumpthoking to cross large gaps, but one of my concerns that I think could keep it from being a standard ability is the wind shield. Jump thok kind of makes the Wind Shield a bit more situational, as some gaps you would clear with a wind shield or a spindash wind shield you can now do with a jump thok.
This isn't a criticism, i think the momentum thok is a cool move and its executed really well with all the graphical effects, even if sometimes you gain so much speed that it becomes too hard to keep, i don't think thats necesarrily a bad thing, it makes the player monitor their speed.

Oh and speaking of the wind shield is it supposed to cause afterimages?
