As soon as I saw Icezer's V.Maximum Overdrive, I just felt like I needed to do this. So here we are:
Ring Spark Field

Returning from Sonic CD, quote:
Hobby Consolas i.23 p.21 said:
Another powerful attack Metal Sonic has is Ring Spark Field, a radioactive force which also has it's disadvantages: the speed and energy of the robot decrease considerably.
Strobing red/blue, with sparks crackling around him, Metal is certainly dangerous for anything and anyone in its way. You can activate the force with Custom Action 1, but only if you're on solid ground. Jumping, landing from a fall or spinning cancels the effects, otherwise auto-cancels in 5 seconds.

Watch out, though - as the quote says, Metal Sonic slows down considerably when under effects. Use carefully.

Great mod just wish it could activate faster though, I always catch myself activating it and getting hit on the spinning frame

Very, very cool. Operates just about how it should, and feels fun to mow through enemies with. Two suggestions, though;

- I would make it so Ring Spark Field can break floor patches/spikes. Going to break some spikes with it and getting blocked by them was a teensy bit disappointing, and I think letting Metal break floor patches could be interesting within some scenarios (you could also make it powerspring in case softlocks are an issue.)
- I would also make it so the state checks for when you can use RSF are a bit more strict, since sometimes you can kinda spam it without it actually happening.

Other than that, pretty neat. Definitely does pair well Overdrive, as well.
