Imma be honest, this mod it's actually very good, and obviously needs to fix some bugs.
His moveset in general is ok, but underwater is really weird and kinda bad (when swimming).
I give 4 stars because it's decent, and a good mod for servers. Cool!

First off, this is the perfect Transition from the Mario games to srb2

Second, those sprites are really awesome

Finally, My personal favorite unintended feature which I have named the superman glitch. I love unintended bugs like this where there is some practicality, so I guess he is more faithful to sm64 with an unintended fast movement option.

All in all even without the unintended feature he is still a perfect mod so I'd rate it a 6/5

I can only give this 2 stars at most because he doesn’t have all of SM64 Mario’s base moves, and because he has custom moves that aren’t shield abilities or a super form, and he moves too fast. He isn’t faithful enough to the game that he’s clearly supposed to be from, which is SM64. If you simply re-named him to something that isn’t particularly suggestive of SM64, such as “Mario”, then I’d give this at least 4 stars.

i rated this 2 stars because it doesnt feel like n64 mario and i know its meant to be the 64 render but it should be more polygonal to replicate the 64s polygonal style, it has no long jump either and some moves shouldnt be there (roll and super roll specifically) because i dont recall them being in Mario 64.

Overall fantastic in the look, feel and mechanics, especially love the use of the classic 64 render style! I'm a massive fan of Mario 64 to a picky degree and I accept pretty much all your decisions since I see how they feed into the design. Rolling and breaking to do tight turns back into a roll feels fun to do. The essential things I think would make this pretty much perfect would be the triple jump and the backflip.. and the footsteps sfx! I know most chars in SRB2 don't have them but it just doesn't feel right without them.

this mod looks great! it works well but the wing cap would suit the nights levels better : /
also the sprites looks too much like a model, but now i just have to wait for someone or if i learn to make a model for it.

This Mario is simply amazing! My only complaint is that the offsets on the crawling animation need to be adjusted a bit, he clips through the floor quite a bit.

While I did put in 3 stars, don't take it personally because I LOVE this mod. Theres just a few problems that interrupts this awesome mod.

1. The ground pond is really great, my only complaints about this is that you cannot activate it when your in the air when you didn't jump. (Basicly, it should activate on springs, when falling, etc.) and couldn't after a dive.

2. Not sure if this is a bug, but in THZ if you get hit and knocked off to the gloop, normally what happens is you are invincible but still can't move unless like about 1 minute passes. For Mario though, when this happens he can't move but will slowly be left venerable.

3. The swimming... this one is what I dislike about this mod, its so weird, clumpy, slow, and uncomfortable. Moving mario is terrible in general, and you can't even stop swimming which is annoying because you can easily drown. Also the swim jump should be used multible times if you don't want mario to stop swimming in mid-air, you could just give it a medium cooldown instead to make it more fair.

Not sure if you were trying to hide it but how you said it lets us obviously know Metal Mario is his super form. It's a very great touch! What also makes it better is that he can't swim but can breath underwater, thats a win-win in my book! Though because he's made of metal, it doesn't make sense that he runs faster and jumps higher. Don't change the super though, its perfect as-is!

Other than the problems, this mod is outstanding! As long as 2 and 3 are fixed this would be the best 5-star rating I ever gave!

This Mario feels great, and does a really good job of translating some of the more fitting 64 moves into the momentum of SRB2. He truly lives up to the title of Jumpman here, able to reach areas that Sonic would normally need Tails' help to traverse; the fact that he needs to hit a foe from above for the jump to be effective is a nice touch as well.

I do think that Mario might benefit from a slide move when pressing Spin while moving, as it would give him a better way of dealing with ground-focused enemies without needing to jump and ground pound into a roll.

It also needs to be said that the sprites in use here are a great representation of 64 too, as they appear to be pre-rendered from the Render 96 model? Either way, they look fantastic.

Overall I really like this Mario! Maybe consider gracing us with a Luigi in the future?

Thank you. If you double tap Spin, you can do a normal Roll. Also, the model used is completely unrelated from Render96. It's an original model made by me and Nugget.
