Fun fact; If you use ai_telemode 64 on BattleMod with bots, if they detect you at teleport range, they'll use their ability (If they have one), as 64 is considered the FIRE key.

FoxBots only behave like the Tails that follows you around when you select Sonic & Tails in singleplayer.

RailAI implements bots that function in ringslinger gamemodes. They don't support Hide N' Seek, but they do support normal Match.
That's the closest you can get for bots that work the way you want with mods on the MB.
