Very rarely does a character shake up the overall playstyle of a game as Mario has here. From the unique playstyle forcing players to think of new routes, to the abundence of many solid power ups, Mario is without a doubt one of the most polished modded characters for SRB2!
This is amazing! I love how it goes back to actual mario games' roots, from powerups to even the score system. My only bug is with using mario in multiplayer gamemodes, like match, e.g. In there, the mega mushroom is VERY overpowered, and you get 1000 points everytime you get a powerup. I really really love this mod, so if you could just fix that minor bug then I would really love that.
What an incredibly fully-featured character! The special SRB2-style music for the Mega Mushroom, all these power-ups, the enormous moveset that somehow doesn't make Mario completely overpowered(Maybe the cape a little, but that's always been OP, and Tails exists), the menu and customization, game-revamp for boxes and coins, all these little details....I'm blown away, and I didn't even discover everything yet. Definitely one of my favorite characters up there with the likes of Skip!
It takes a bit to get some comfortable controls set up, but do take that effort, because it is SO worthwhile!
This is the polished mod I've seen in Srb2, It even has power-ups?! This might the best mod ever, it's so real like you playing SM64 kinda. Really amazing and I have fun playing this guy, it might be impossible to attack bosses and jumping obstacle course but I think I'm just bad at it, Thanks for this masterpiece.
Honestly, I am pretty impressed with this mod. It is one of the best Mario mods I have seen in SRB2. It adds many Mario mechanics and just being able to experience this in a game like SRB2 feels not only satisfying but it just amazes me how well done this all felt. And it honestly makes me realize that so many things can be done with coding in SRB2. This is just an awesome mod if you want to experience SRB2 in another way. Great job!
