I run into this problem when I try to install ZB:

is there anyway someone can help?

I'm running into a strange bug with Zone Builder now. It seems to be refusing to load all Textures, Things, & Level Headers when I playtest Levels, except for the base game's Level Headers. As such, Zone Builder won't let me test any Levels that aren't Maps 1-99 or Z0, and when I do, it'll always use the Level Headers from the base game's corresponding Levels. For example, when I load Tropical Jungle from the Sonic '06 Stages(which use Map01-Map13) in Zone Builder and I hit the test button, it'll start up the game in the 1st place, but then it won't load any '06 textures and it'll use a red texture in their places, and it'll use the Deep Sea Zone 1 Level Header instead of the Tropical Jungle Level Header, and the custom Things from the '06 Level Pack will be replaced with red caution signs.

And then when I load a Stage that doesn't have a Map Number of Map 01-99 or Z0, the Stage will refuse to load at all. I have restarted Zone Builder, and I did make sure to load the relevant Level Packs as Resources by using the F6 Dialogue Option in the Resources Tab to do so, and I did check the Exclude this Resource from Testing Parameters option.
However, Stages that are from the base game will run just fine via. Zone Builder.

I wasn't having this problem last week, but now that I have this problem, I can't use Zone Builder to test my custom Stages anymore.

Below is the most recent Crash Report that's resultant of this new bug:

I'm having a problem, it says I need to download the most updated version of DirectX 9 to proceed (I did download it, it ignored)

After the recent update of SRB2 to 2.2.15, everything is bad for me when I launch the editor, even reinstalling didn't help.
As I understand it, there are problems with resources, but I don't understand why the editor sends them.
Here are the error logs (THERE ARE TOO MANY OF THEM)

Sorry if the question seems stupid, I just don't understand what's going on, this has never happened with the editor before.
  • to clarify, I have all the resources from SRB2 added, SBR2.pk3 as well as patch.pk3 too, but nothing changes

is SRB2 made on the doom engine? In first person it uses the view bobbing from doom.
Yes, SRB2 was made using a DOOM engine, albeit a modified one.

I'm unsure if you have had this answered elsewhere, but given that you haven't gotten an answer here:
Those textures are left over from the .14 version of Pipe Towers Zone. They were the new textures and were removed, although it still looks for them by default. This does not affect the usability of Zone Builder (or Ultimate Zone Builder, at that).

thanks for the answer.
yes, I didn't get an answer here, I just figured it out myself later when I opened the SRB2 2.2.14 files.(I tried to port the new PTZ to 2.2.15, spoiler, it didn't work, there are too many functions that broke in 2.2.15 without a full port of resources from 2.2.14)
