i get what you were trying to do but the traced design looks way better and i think you should just keep with a few tweaks

From V3 is where I actually studied the design.
V3's color is based on the second part of the movie from the VHS release.

ngl, the only problem i had with the v1 sprites is the back sprites, they looked odd
