Hey everyone. I've tried everything to get these models to work. I followed many tutorials online saying to do the same things but I still can't get the models to show up in game. I have no idea what I'm missing. I can only assume that these models are no longer compatible with the current update of SRB2. If so please let me know.

so for those of you who are wondering (which why would you) you can give other characters model which they don't have by giving them other characters models to use. For example, i have sonic use these models, meanwhile i have mcsonic from the max control pack use peppermint models sonic, so you can use peppermint models sonic (in fact i would recommend it, even though it doesn't have soap shoes.) Good models though :)

I believe all you really need to do is download the VDLC only pack (Jeck Jims' 2.2 Models v2.14(VDLC-ONLY).7z), then copy the files to the main directory of SRB2. What really happens is that the models folder doesn't actually replace anything, except for some reason it replaces Knuckles' model, which is located in the PLAY folder. The modelpack adds two new folders, that being PLAY and VDLC, so all you really need is the VDLC folder because of Knuckles. Sorry if I overcomplicated things a little, feel free to ask for more help if you're still confused!

Thanks but I've already done all of that and I've tried even more things than that and nothing works. No extra characters show up when I click 1 Player / Start Game.
I put everything into the main folder which includes the models folder and the models.dat file. Maybe it doesn't work because of the folder spelling but I'm not sure what the main folder is supposed to be called by default at this point.

I've turned on OpenGL in video options and I turned on 3D models in the OpenGL options.
Does it have to be on the C drive?

Oh, haha, I think you may be a little confused. These actually just add 3D models to modded characters. You can find most of the modded characters by googling them, (it's way easier than scouring the message board.), And then once you've loaded the character mods, you'll be able to play as them with the 3D Models, which I presume you already have installed. If you need more help then feel free to ask! By the way, I'm really sorry for the late reply or if I didn't explain it clearly.

Unless someone already helped you, that .pk3 file is used only for SRB2Android users with the "modelpack' command, which isn't in the normal version of SRB2. really hope this post helps you.
