Hyper Alt Sonic's highest ground speed by just running is 150 FU/T. Taking my calculations and applying them...
109.375000003 meters per tic, 3828.12500012 meters per second.

Finally, vanilla normalspeed of 36 FU/T is....
26.2500000008 meters per tic, ... 3 time Mach 1 at 918.750000029 meters per second? Yea, uh, clearly I shouldn't be looking this hard into this.

Icezer updated Alternative Sonic with a new update entry:

There was still some juice left in the lemons.

Alt Sonic version 8.1 has been pushed, and is more or less a bugfix update with some QoL changes attached.

- There used to be a bug with the homing attack where dying while homing in on something would cause the player to bonk while dead. This has been fixed.
- Some small compatibility issues with other mods have been fixed.
- Made it so colorization is more consistent (some ghosts used to stay un-colorized even if the player was colorized.)
- Although this is a bit late,...

Icezer updated Alternative Sonic with a new update entry:

Version 8.2

Hey all. Due to a reason I can't disclose, I had to change the sprites for Super Dash Mode/Hyper particles. I also took the time to make it so that all effects (aside from Super Dash Mode/Super/Hyper running dust) are invisible if you're in first person. This will make it so that you won't get blinded by Hyper afterimages or numerous particle effects.

Since Alt has been out for a bit now, I might as well give some info related to easter eggs.

Alt has a laugh button, which I'm sure everyone probably knows by now. However, there's a 2% chance that if you laugh, you'll start laughing like a certain skeleton from a different game. This 2% chance also applies during the super/hyper transformation.

There's also a second easter egg that has a 5% chance to trigger upon the player dying, but you'll have to find that one for yourself if you haven't already ;)

I knew about the laugh, but I never knew about the death one! Guess I'm off to abuse the hedgehog :lol:. The laugh one is a good easter egg and very funny that I have drawn it.

Let's update this.

150 FU per tic is 3.125 meters per tic. There are 35 tics in a second, which means we'd travel 35x that distance. Which means that... the "per tic" measurements here before are actually the per second. 109.375 meters per second is 150 FU/T, which is 244.6649069 miles per hour.

36 / 48 is .75. .75 * 35 is 26.25 meters per second. 58.719578 miles per hour.

Top average human running speed is 6.7056 meters per second. This means that human normalspeed would probably be about 9 FU/T.
