If msv6 is apreciated enough, Maybe they will replicate that mechanic, Maybe for a greeneyes revamp even

I was hoping for it to be a single mod that support every custom characters,imagine how fast x sonic can go with a mod that can increase speed by the amount of rings you have

Welp, it will be Hard, because we would have to reverse engine that mechanic, to avoid code extraction because msv6 is not open assets

as far as I remember motdspork once said he wanted to add it, but well, at the moment it won't be possible due to the above mentioned issues.

Adding a quick step is dipping into Sega territory with to many damned abilities on only a few buttons. Plus quick step in SRB2 is not very useful in my opinion.
