Another mapping collab! I reached out to many people asking to make a short map in 5 days. The goal was to make one massive zone. But I threw a twist into it, a challenge to the maps being made..

The rules were that you had to turn off SNAP TO GRID.

And Turn off Render Grid

For people not well versed with SRB2 or Doom Mapping, this is the equivalent of making precise architecture without measurements or guidelines.

Here are a few stages in here. There are 12 whole acts (Although I'm too lazy to upload images of all of them shut the shut up)

Please report bugs, and give criticism! And, just for funsies, you can try rating the maps OLDC style, although don't count on me to tally them lol.

Enjoy!

For the premise of the pack, I expected something far memier and of lower quality, but this is probably one of my favorite packs that I've played! The stages are all really well made, and the emblems offer a tough but fun challenge to play through. I wasn't a fan of the enemy spam on the last stage, but that stage was still fun to speedrun, so there's honestly no obvious sore spots to really complain about.

I loved this so much, but to be honest... Act 5 caught my heart the most. THE SPEED. THE MUSIC. I can't explain it but it was amazing.

Interesting contest idea! Definitely enjoyed playing through all the maps, several times even to see most of the alternate paths. Obviously not the best or most polished stages, given the time and rule constraints, but the pack as a whole is solid and doesn't overstay its welcome.

Despite how lost I felt at points, I honestly love this level pack. I feel like it could've used a bit more length and direction in some levels, but this level pack was made in 5 days... Can you really be harsh against it?
Besides that, there are some actually really cool looking levels in this pack. There's a bit of something there for everyone.
Plus, it has infinite lives enabled by default. You don't have to worry about having to restart an act from falling into the same pit so many fricking times.
My favorite level out of this? Tonal Whiplash. Why, you ask?
Just give it a try!

Not one map stood out as bad or poorly designed or uninteresting. Nearly everything is pretty good. Would recommend.

This was... amazing. Some of the stages were disappointingly short, but that doesn't matter. Grid Apocalypse was my favorite out of all of them.

Also, here's the proper technique. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNOkS_bfFo8

It's unfortunate how I cannot join this collab at all due to myself being busy at a time, nonetheless, at least I have the time to try this out and give feedbacks, you can see it for yourself and others who participated in this in the Discussion.

I had fun playing it, I also had to try your rule regarding to mapping, it hits heavily different, imagine if I joined, I might've cursed myself for this.

Also, the cutscene.... Ok.
