[Open Assets] srb2bld - SRB2 Build/Package manager CLI

I don't know why I didn't rated this utility before knowing this is a must have for non-Windows users.

In fact this is a truly god send for Linux users (and also for Mac). I'm consent some of the stuff already comes on their Flatpak form, but in case you want to experience old SRB2 Versions, custom builds, or use Ultimate Zone Builder with less issues and the most native way on your machine, this utility it's a must have and good to go.

You can have the whole modding pack (SLADE, Ultimate Zone Builder, Aseprite), old SRB2 versions, SRB2 Kart and their custom builds, and more.

The best thing it's that you can compile all of these stuff in a easier way once it is setted up and installed for the first time.

Then the usual steps are just, 1) open srb2bld with the desired parameters 2) choose what you want with the desired version (nightly build or stable commonly) and 3) build.

And srb2bld will care of also create a shortcut for it.

I know how to compile manually, I mostly use it to distribute my SRB2/UZB custom builds in Flatpak/Appimage form which also srb2bld does this. So it's not only to install stuff, works also for distribution and sharing. It's just amazing.

bricked my debian 12 with this lol, good thing it was a new install :-) but that was me being silly anyhow, i'd installed it directly instead of compiling to an appimage. on my new debian testing install i created appimages of a few versions and they work beautifully, thank you!

This is great, I managed to download the newest version of SLADE on my MacOS M1 MacBook Air and it works like a charm. Now I can make SRB2 levels without having to use a Windows emulator.

Thanks for still updating it :) also maybe at this point STJ should make the game available as an Appimage too, it would be great.
