Welcome to the Green Hills!
===================================================================
You are finally able to play that one SA2 stage that you never got to play (legitimately), BUT this time in SRB2 AND without any need for grinding emblems nor being a healthy father figure! (Like I did... and now I have two loving sons and all 180 emblems. :3)
The addon itself contains a single main stage, custom gamedata containing features such as record attack emblems, unlockables, custom made sprites and even... a singular bonus stage unlocked along side pandora’s box... and just know that the title screen map (that you can see up above) isn’t filled with rings and badniks for no reason... >:3
And the stage itself has some changes from the original which will hopefully make for a better and way more fleshed out experience, such as adding ALL of the GHZ enemy types from original Sonic the hedgehog, giving some visual tweaks to the stage like more plant life and other decorations, adding more geometry from the original act 1 and just polishing up the stage in places in which it needed that the most.

EXTRA INFO
Using OPENGL is recommended for this addon, mainly because of a rather severe visual bug in the main act, but if you can look past that and some sprite flickering here and there, then this addon is suitable for software. But OPENGL is still more stable visually. And probably performance wise as well.
And to contradict that... It seems that SRB2 v2.2.15 broke how the horizon effect behaves, so now there's a small side effect of that with the OPENGL renderer in form of geometry and other objects tearing through the infinite sea. There's sadly no actual way of fixing this at the moment, so all I can do now is hope that this will be fixed in v2.2.16.
And some springs in the main stage are replaced with NiGHTS bumpers, and that's because I'm currently waiting for a friend to develop a custom spring type with their functionality closer to actual SA2. So see them as regular placeholders, that will be replaced later on.

CREDITS OR USED ASSETS
@BadOmenThingy for creating Sonic 1 Badnik pack.
The SA2 Green Hill track... used for the main stage. :P (Known as SA2 Green hill...)
Green Hill Zone act 2 from Sonic Mania used for Unknown Hill.
Turret 3471 from VGMusic for the Green Hill Zone MIDI track.
Shadowth117 from T.T.R for ripping the stage textures from SA2.
Any other assets not listed here are made mostly by me. (Sprites, enemy edits and other stuff.) Which DON'T require credit, but at least notifying me of the assets being used would be nice, because It's cool to see your work being used. :3
And human memory is flawed, so if you seem to notice assets not listed here, then notify me about it!
