Extra Life (Classic) v1.2.6

This seems to be pretty awesome, the one thing that doesn't seem much to me is that the sprites are minimally modified. Not to be a bragger, but it's just that he doesn't really emulate much speed, and also that he kind of seems to have nothing much going on than just a color-modified Sonic with some sprites changed with an ability that might be slightly and underpowered cheesy ability, but since this is based off an A.I.R mod, it doesn't seem like anything worth to brag about.

Extra life is very fun and takes height in a original way, which is something I like. My only complaint is you map the triple dash to jump instead of spin, as Extra Life when he grabs a shield he won't be able to perform it. This makes him some what boring as when you do get a shield he really has no way in recovering and has no double jump ability. Some suggestions I would recommend is making Extra life fall slower when preforming his Triple dash, and also maybe letting him use his shield ability after using his Triple Dash?
With these things out of the way you did a great job, your sprite edit is amazing and doesn't disappoint! Happy new year!

Really nice seeing such an obscure character getting some love and attention! He even has the large fang!
Gameplay is really neat too, I think the additional vertical momentum you gain from the triple dash really adds to the move's versatility.

Your character is very well built to be the first version but ...
1 The character can use a shield which makes it impossible to use the ability with a shield
2 I think that apart from me, others think that the extra life must have a special ability with the double jump, an example could be CA_DOUBLE_JUMP or a custom one
Your character has a lot of potential, he just needs more detail like running in the water Or who knows maybe I'm completely wrong who knows you tell me and thanks for reading My rating
