As always, please let me know if you encounter any issues and I will fix them asap.

- General -

Updated JugadorXEI's "no water skip" lua.

Fixed a major skip, and I think I fixed some gravity stuff too? forgor

- Lost City -
Fixed the sides of the finish line going into the second lap not counting as a finish line.

- Explodatorium -
The spring jump is now doable with Growth.

- Pridemoor Keep -
Fixed a missing death plane.
Added window cut TWO

- Meta Junglira -
The zippers on the shortcut inside the temple should be much harder to miss now.
Removed some GFZROCK.

- Funny Avenue -
Funny Avenue should now properly be free in every version of the pack.

- Battle -
Morningstar Arena and Event Horizon have had their slots changed to RU and RT, respectively, to avoid mapslot conflicts (woops, my bad).

General Changes:
- Planet Laeau Laile -
Fixed a major skip, and I think I fixed some gravity stuff too? forgor

- Lost City -
Fixed the sides of the finish line going into the second lap not counting as a finish line.

- Funny Avenue -
I've decided to release Funny Avenue from hell jail, on account of good behaviour. Go forth and deliver many funnies upon the kart community, my child.

- Battle -
I made some Shovel Knight battle maps a long time ago and never released them so I just packed them into the battle file to get them out there. They're pretty simple and have not been tested in netgames, but hopefully you find some fun with them.
General changes:
- Meta Junglira -
Mud has been made less slippery and is now at a uniform -24 across the map (only slightly more slippery than vanilla ice physics).

- Planet Laeau Laile -
Fixed a major skip and a minor skip.

- Titanic Monarch -
Some changes to the slalom near the end: road made a bit wider, boost panels have been added to the banked turns (thanks for the suggestion, Juggy!)
General changes:
- Botanic Base -
Updated Ashnal's item spawner. It should now be consistent with the item spawners found in KanzakiPak and Draft Tracks (bigger is better).

- Explodatorium -
Added a boost panel near the first fire spouts, and inverted the flow of the fire spouts near the finish.

New maps:
- Meta Junglira Zone -
The funny jungle level from Sonic Triple Trouble, with assets from Triple Trouble 16-bit used with permission from Noah N. Copeland and DeeLiteyears. Don't slip on that mud!

- Foggy Complex Zone -
You might recognize this one from SI-HTpak. Since that pack isn't getting updated anymore, I'm putting my map in my own pack. Foggy Complex uses the same slot but has received some minor changes to reduce blind spots and chokepoints. And no, Dimensional Cruise is not coming to Dig Pack!

- Planet Laeau Laile -
This map's a bit of a special case. It was made for a map jam hosted by the KCS with an arcade theme, but since there were too few submissions and that Jam Jar update is not happening, I figure I might as well drop it in here. The map was based on a niche arcade shmup game called Xexex.

General changes:
- Version Splits -
DP_ShovelKnight and DP_SonicandOriginals have been renamed to DPPart1 and DPPart2 respectively.

- Flying Machine -
Fixed some checkpoint jank.

- Tower of Fate -
Changed some encore colors. Overhauled the first few turns. Made some death pits less punishing. Improved directioning in some parts... and probably more I can't remember right now.

- Wandering Falls -
Optimized textures that were 2048 tall. Hopefully people stop having memory crashes now. Please let me know if it still occurs!

- Barrier Lab (Battle) -
Made the outer edges walls.

- The End of Dig Pack?! -
Barring the inevitable hotfix and minor patches I will have to push because I messed something up, this will be the last major update to Dig Pack. That doesn't mean I'm not mapping anymore! I just feel like the pack is reaching critical mass, and I gotta move on. Any future maps will be in a new pack. For now, this is the epic finale of Dig Pack.

Don't be sad! I'll also be making the pack reusable. Do with it whatever you please in accordance with the mb's reusability rules.
General changes:

- New Version Splits -
Starting with this version, the main pack (which is now 52 MB) that has all the race maps is supported by two separate packs that split the race maps into two categories:

- DP_ShovelKnight has all the Shovel Knight tracks.
- DP_SonicandOriginals has the Sonic-themed tracks and my original tracks that aren't based on anything.

This is done because files that exceed 50 MB cannot be downloaded from servers that don't have an https source set up (which is pretty much any listen server, which are now more relevant than ever with holepunching being a thing in srb2k 1.4 on). For dedicated servers with the proper set-up, the main pack is still available.

Also starting with this version, the combined race and battle pack (KRBL) will no longer be supported, and battle maps will only be available separate. The main race pack has been renamed from DigPackRACE to just DigPack accordingly.

This change was done because having this many packs is already becoming a pain to manage and I really don't feel like doing so anymore. The majority of servers run just race or just battle, anyway. Edits of my files are allowed for the express purpose of changing my maps' slots or combining any of my packs into one pack. Any other edits to the maps themselves are still not allowed, but I'll probably be fine with them if you ask first (Diggle#1111, find me on the Kart Krew discord).

- Tower of Fate & Botanic Base -
These maps have been moved to slots MJ and MK respectively to avoid map conflicts. Tower of Fate's encore palette has also received an update.

New maps:
- Pridemoor Keep Remake -
Wait a sec, wasn't this map already in the pack?! This isn't new! Well, it kinda is. It's a reimagining of my very first track with a new layout, while trying to keep the same basic elements people have gotten used to. Which leads directly into...

- Pridemoor Classic -
The classic version of Pridemoor Keep will also stay part of the pack. It has a lot of fans and is still perfectly playable, so I decided to keep it. It's a little dated and I won't be supporting it actively anymore, but I hope you still enjoy racing on it! It's in hell for now, but feel free to SOC it back in rotation if you wish (especially with the fact that you can't force hell maps anymore by voting random in the most recent kart version!)

- Explodatorium -
The Explodatorium is Plague Knight's alchemy lab, where he and his minions spend time brewing all sorts of concoctions, as well as blowing stuff up and generally causing mayhem. And now you get to race in it!

- Tower of Fate -
The final Shovel Knight track. It's been 2 years since I set out on this journey to adapt every Order of No Quarter stage (+ plains i guess) to SRB2K, and it's finally come to an end. Race through the Enchantress' lair, using everything you've learned from your karting and shoveling adventures so far to navigate this long, perilous race track.

Tower of Fate has not gone through extensive netgame testing compared to my other maps, rather just a small netgame. If any issues pop up or you have trouble navigating the place, please let me know and I'll see if I can fix it!

General changes:
- All maps -
Cleaned up custom mobj state usage.

- Botanic Base -
Moved item sets around, changed the starting area, placed some more signage. Also added a new thumbnail.

- Wacky Workbench -
Fixed a texture not swapping between time periods.

Known issues:
- Paraglider -
In 1.4 onward, the paraglider throws a warning when deployed. This doesn't hamper gameplay any and the glider still works perfectly as intended. Once the paraglider mod gets updated, I will push a fix for this issue ASAP.
EDIT: In my 5 am brain I accidentally uploaded a test version of the KRBL pack. Don't use that!!!! Please grab KRBL_DigPack_v12.1.pk3 once it is approved.

General:
- Botanic Base -
Reworked the starting area, improved signage, added a ramp after the button, fixed some checkpoints.

As usual, if there are any issues, please let me know and I'll get them fixed asap.

New maps:
- Botanic Base -
A relaxing, pleasant drive through a giant greenhouse. Based on the level from Knuckles Chaotix.

- Iron Whale -
Race through Treasure Knight's submarine and drift through the depths in this underwater stage based on Shovel Knight.

General:
- Separated Downloads -
There are now separate downloads for race, battle, or the complete Dig Pack package.

- Clockwork Tower -
Removed a hazard and hopefully fixed a softlock.
  • Cool!
Reactions: Saturn Ross
EDIT: Don't use DigPackRACE 11.1! It crashes when Lich Yard is selected. I've uploaded a patch for both versions that fixes this and an obscure softlock in Wacky Workbench. Please use 11.1.1 once it is approved.

I'm just releasing this update now because it works, but the new map and the changes to old ones have not gone through the same netgame testing phase that I usually put stuff through. If anything breaks, please let me know on discord (you can find me in the kart krew discord server! Diggle#1111)

New map:
- Clockwork Tower -
This is where Tinker Knight makes his home, building a great many contraptions from his workplace within. Conveyor belts, pistons, gears... It's got it all.

Changes to older maps:
The changes here might be a little controversial, but were made in response to complaints received... please let me know what you think.

- Lava Reef Zone -
Removed a hazard and made the jump exiting the spiral a bit better.

- Flying Machine -
Removed the second glider section. The only glider section left in this map now is the big one at the start.

- Lich Yard -
Changed the final turn right before exiting the crypt area to offer more breathing room.

- Funny Avenue -
The music file for this was HUGE! Shrunk it down by a lot. Funnily enough this means that even though there's a new map, the file size for this pack actually went down.
