This mod changes how spindash charging functions to be more akin to the classic games.
Instead of charging up automatically over time you have to manually charge the spindash by mashing jump, the pitch even changes depending on how charged up the spindash is! The spindash will periodically decrease its revving power when you're not mashing, though.
Alongside mashing jump, I've also included the option of mashing forward (any direction when using Automatic) to charge it in tandem with jump to emulate hitting multiple jump buttons to mash the spindash faster in the classic games so you can pull off powerful spindashes really quickly!
This script also multiplies your character's running speed to calculate the minimum and maximum spindash speeds, with the minimum speed multiplier being x1.33 and the maximum speed multiplier being x2.0! This makes the vanilla cast's minimum spindash speed 48 (from 15) and maximum spindash speed 72 (from 70)!
