Sonic doesn't really have many changes, but he does have the dropdash

This mod is extremely customizable, it comes with a lot of commands, which I'll quickly run through here
dropdash - enables or disables the dropdash (on by default)
dropdashonspin - puts the dropdash on spin (off by default)
dpsquake - starts an earthquake when hitting the ground after a dropdash while super (off by default)
speedcap - limits the player's speed (on by default)
momentum - enables or disables momentum (on by default)
anglestand - enables or disables anglestand (on by default)
airwalk - sets the player's state to fall if off when in the air (on by default)
fallbackcam - if going at high speed, the camera will fall back (on by default)
classicphys - does certain things with slopes to make it play closer to the classic games (on by default)
maniashoes - makes speed shoes provide even more ghosts (on by default)
CDsprings - makes the player rotate when hitting a spring (on by default)
solidsprings - makes springs solid from the sides (off by default)
reroll - lets you roll from springs (off by default)
SRB2Spindash - disables the classic style spindash (off by default)
peelout - gives the peelout from Sonic CD (off by default)
instashield - gives the instashield from Sonic 3 (off by default)
instashieldonspin - puts the instashield on spin if enabled (on by default)
ISRebound - if you hit an enemy mid instashield, you'll bounce normally (off by default)
rollafteruse - if a shield is used, will be put into the fall state after (off by default)
timeout - if the time hits 9:59, you will die (off by default)
cdtimeout - if you stand still for 3 minutes, you will die (off by default)
rollangle - changes your roll angle on a slope (off by default)
rolloutspindash - lets do you do the spindash on a rollout rock (unfunctioning)
doloops - lets you do loops (off by default)
speedeffects - adds some effects depending on speed (off by default)
waterrun - lets the player run on water (on by default)
playerstretch - adds squash and stretch (off by default)
runonwatereffect - adds a cool effect for running on water (on by default)
allclassics - other classic sonics get these physics too (off by default) (not recommended)
movestack - lets you twin the thok and the dropdash
all of these require no arguments, so go wild

Ok so, this mod is mine, I swear on my life, the reason why it's there is because I used it on another classic sonic mod (Mania Sonic), and then completely forgot to update the changes I made there here, so to save on time, I just copy and pasted everything from there to here. If I'm missing any credits, just let me know and I'd be happy to add them as it has been a while since I've touched this mod and have forgotten most things about it. Also, the stuff about MT_BACKGROUND and junk is just something I wasnt able to do and kept incase someone wanted to put it in their own mod.

This mod is completely reusable for your own means, and you only have to credit the people in the credits, not me.​

List of things that I've tested and don't work:

the classic styled spindash, whenever i try to spindash it gives me warnings. In the console. Oh and theres also an enormous red warning sign on top of my character
speedcap - tried on, off and specific numbers as arguments. whatever you do, all characters as if they had speed shoes all the time

DoLoops has the same issue HPU has with going onto ceilings being weirdly inconsistent, and I think it'd be better suited to staying as a wallrun for now. The wallrun isn't quite as well-balanced as HPU's, but it's sooooooo fluid. Going from a drop dash to a wallrun feels like spindash jumping in SA1 if it didn't ask you to stop at all.
Obviously there's nothing to really take advantage of this beyond some bits in ACZ and of course, Half Pipe Test. Which is a shame, but that's not the fault of the mod, so I'm not gonna care.
Most other things in this mod are just, not really of interest to me, but it's cool that there's so much content. I'm just reviewing off of what I paid attention to, DoLoops, and whether it was fun and polished or not. To which I say it is fun, and probably took a lot of effort, but it could use a bit more polish.

Honestly this pretty fun, I like how the massive amount of options like you play how ever you want. What it is it's amazing but if I had any request it would be

Make it easier to move it the air and maybe give a little higher jump, and if you want to go the extra mile you can give sonic more weight so it's easy to platform instead of of the SRB2 float.

But that's just stuff I would like to see and feel like it'll bring that classic feel of platforming and feel, but It's a nice mod and I will probably use it all the time XD.
