What are Some Good SRB2 2.1 Mods

Those are v2.2 mods, D00D, not v2.1. I'm unlocking this; I think this is a reasonable discussion to have.
 
Ah, my mistake. Somehow misread 2.1 as 2.2.

In THAT case...

Right off the bat, I reccomend the SUGOI trilogy. A set of 3 map packs made from Community member submitted maps. Lots of content to check out. A must-play for 2.1.

There's also SRB2 Top Down, a mod with a different perspective on SRB2. It may have been built for Co-op, but single player is still a good time!

Admitingly, just about anything else that isn't the OLDC is something ported to 2.2, or perhaps on the obscure side. Even characters from this era are not as great as those in 2.2, or were ported (and often enhanced) to 2.2. There isn't much that can't/won't be ported to 2.2. If you are looking for more maps from this era, OLDC maps for 2.1 start here, and that's a good place to look.
 
A bit of a weird one considering it's nature, but SRB2: The Past is a pretty great one due to how comprehensive of a collection of old SRB2 content it is, and how it makes them more accessible due to the better controls of 2.1 compared to those older releases. It even has a couple extra merits with stuff like the beta quest, letting players take a peak at the prototype levels (like Mine Maze and Rocky Mountain) that went unused.

Actually I looked up SRB2 2.1 Mods, and I found a mod called the past and a few other mods. But I'm glad you know about it then.
I personally love looking at SRB2's big history.

Explain to me on why you don't have Silver, Pointy Sonic, Shadow, Inazuma, Dirk, FSonic, Metal Sonic, Metal Anyone, Orb, Ray, and Jasper right now :lol:. Joke aside there are so much characters for 2.1 out there (Weirdly almost/is shorter than 2.2's characters slot even though the game was expanded for 5 years) that are very fun! The characters I listed I personally recommend checking out as I have fun more with them!

Sorry also forgot to slap in Encore. I have a blast with this mod! I feel nothing but disappointment for the fact you don't have this downloaded :lol:
