This mod's last update is almost 3 years old by now, and the music slot functionality in SRB2 was changed some time ago. That may be the cause. So unless the mod gets an update for that, there's no other way to fix that.
I should stress that I'm not entirely sure if this is the cause, it's just the first possibility that came up in my mind.
