I think it would be shift + jump. But it could be the stomp jump from frontiers, where if you pressed stomp, then jumped it would send you higher.

It seems that many mods DO need rewrites for the new update. My bad.

I haven't played it yet, only seen footage, but it seems Sonic (and probably others) has a dedicated skidding sprite now, rather than using 1 frame of the jogging animation?

Correct, But tricks in Generations add additional unrefillable bar, Plus, We're getting moves from most modern games!
