It's an excuse to resuse the gens drift animation, kinda smart tbh. Drift rolling would probably be really fun.

no its not,its cool and make much more sense since he is going so fast,unleashed doesnt even make sense because he will burn his hand with how fast he is going

If Im not mistaken,there will be option to use auto drift(modern sonic v5 drift/sonic generations drift but auto) so I guess you technically can?

nah,pretty sure auto drift would be the same as v5 but with a different roll sprite since auto drift only happen when you did a sharp turn(turning to right or left while boosting) it will look weird with SU drift and I like the idea of using different animation for both drift style(Sonic Unleashed for manual and Sonic gens for auto)

Lmao, I actually used to be impatient as fuck, believe it or not. Whenever I got one of my now favorite consoles ever, the Xbox 360, I learned waiting was worth stuff, lol.

I prefer the Unleashed Drift. Again, it feels like they stuck a Spindash animation there just because they could. I don't like this for the same reason I don't like moves like Rocket Accel.

It's a variation of a move that isn't available in its purest form, and it always offput me. I never play Gens without the Unleashed Drift.

This is also the same reason I don't like Amy's moveset in Superstars. Theres no reason you need to double jump to preform a purely grounded move. The Dropdash works because you can also Spindash, and the move, in execution, also makes sense. You rev in the air, hitting the ground and blasting off. Amy lands and swings her hammer around.

I'm a purist with these kinds of things, I don't like any semblance of jank in my games, lol

If there was a Spindash in gens, and the normal Unleashed Drift was in the game, if you could Spindash and input drift and get the animation, I would think it was really cool.

Also, who thought of the slide? If I could make one visual change to any Modern Sonic game, it'd be to make the Slide a Spindash-esque move. I'd prefer an actual Spindash, but the behavior is close enough that it doesn't contradict with the points I make above. The next thing would be to revert to the long-quilled model. The short quills are fine too, but the way they changed the positions of the quills make it just look bad imo.

Honestly, I only choose Amy in Superstars cuz I've seen all the other movesets already. It could be worse. (Also Cafe Amy just goes hard. -w-)

Does anyone can do spindash if they try too?Tails and Knuckles can do it,Amy and cream in sonic advance can do it so does this mean spindash isnt a unique ability to sonic and shadow?well I can understand that sonic teach tails but what about knuckles,amy and cream?

I know that sonic and shadow have the strongest and fastest spindash but I hate it if anyone can use it
