They're back for more as Badnik Pack 2 brings with it more retro SRB2 goodies as well as a few more new (and an old) custom badniks!

Without any further delay, let's get to the badniks!

first up is a classic. Motobug
attachment.php

This badnik may be nothing more than a crawla clone, but is a good choice for Green Hill type stages.

Next up, Batbrain
attachment.php

A good badniks for caves, ruins or other places you may want a bat. Sprites for this guy were started by Monster Iestyn and finished up by myself

Classic Snailers return for your Space base or Factory full of pollution
attachment.php

In this modern age, we now have the Lance-a-bots, but before then, these guys were the top of Eggman's robotic guards. Perfect for Medival stages and Castles, the Castle bot Facestabber are good either on their own or in a small squad commanded by a lance-a-bot
attachment.php

Ballhogs finally make their appearance in SRB2. These little piggies are just about perfic for any theme of level. But to get the most out of them, make sure to place them near the top of a slope or hill. Or, you can get creative and have them tossing their balls into a canyon!
attachment.php

For those of you feeling more dangerous, This Hot headed piggy is for you. These guys are best used by themselves because they toss around Brak's Napalm bombs.
attachment.php

Making their return to the skies are the Jetty-syns
Bombers and Gunners are just about perfect for any themed level.
attachment.php

attachment.php

Want a snapping turtle that's actually as slow as a turtle? Then these old snappers are for you. Watch out as they are dangerous to any thing that rolls into them.
attachment.php

Don't need a smart missel of a BASH for your stage? Then why not try this classic model? No new sprites required as the old behavior has been restored. This BASH will just keep charging straight ahead until it hits a wall.
attachment.php

Plus we got all the classic SRB1 Remake badniks too. All fully restored and even using their old map thing numbers!
attachment.php

and Finally, the Big guys. The Bosses of the pack. All 3 of then Hail from the old SRB2 TGF version. Eggman, Plasma Drone, and Fan-A/tic!
attachment.php

Hopefully you can find something you like in this pack, or maybe this pack can help you with creating a pack of your own?

V1: First Release!

V1.1 Fixed an issue with Snapper normally not seen due to its low health. Issue was found with the use of Cacee

...Is there a reason this couldn't have been an update to the last badnik pack? Or just another file added to that pack's topic?

Organization issues for the the user. Weather all the socs, and/or lua scripts were in one lump or multiple (like they are here) the more badniks there are, the more entries/lumps accumulate, and the harder it gets to find everything. On this I speak from experience with how many custom objects I have had to shift through occasionally in SRB2 the Past and Dimension Glaber. Let's just say Badnik Packs 1 and 2 combined are just the tip of the iceburg.

When Providing resources on their own, I don't want the user to get overwhelmed and not find what they're looking for because I included too much.

Also I was having issues with the attachment system deleting uploaded screenshots.

Alright, I'll move it to releases. I still don't feel too great about it, but I suppose this will still do, since the mods function as intended. I'll leave the posts up, in case others ask the same question.

Just a heads, up, the Midiman credited in the co-authors is the wrong midiman. The correct one contracted me and let me know they didn't have a MB account at the time I submitted the resource pack.

(Mods, is there a way to fix this?)

They are in the pack number 1.
That's the TGF and Final Demo Crawlas

Cool job! I'll be taking this *yoink*
Now that I think about it, if all the SRB1 enemies have the same ID...
And 2.2 pretty much supports 2.1 stages...

Bright the Hedgehog? That's way too far!
Whenever I put a motobug into my map on Zone Builder and then run the game, instead of the motobug, there is an old crawla commander, and that confuses me. How do I fix that?

glaber updated Badnik pack DX with a new update entry:

Upgrade from Badnik Pack 2 to Badnik Pack DX

It's finally happened. Badnik Packs 1 and 2 have been combined as per user demand, but that's not all. Content that would have been used in a Badnik Pack 3 has also been included making this one huge pack of custom built, or Rebuilt enemies!

V3: First Release!
Combined the contents of Badnik Packs 1 and 2
added Rockbot, Red Springshell, Alternitive 2.1 style Red Springshell, Masher, Gohla, TGF Bomber, TGF Gunner, SHARP, 2.1 Egg Guard, 2.1 Yellow Springshell, 2.1 Robo-hood, Final Demo...

Read the rest of this update entry...

forgot to swap out the *3*7 frames on Technosqueek so have a bonus set of alternate sprites for those frames

A future update will have the old sprites included as alternate sprites.

Say, have you ever tested the old Egg Guards in an online game? Cus me and a couple friends were playing a level that featured them and they constantly stopped while the console just threw up a bunch of errors.

I'm gonna bump this since it didn't seem like you saw this. It actually has me a bit concerned for SRB2 the Past here.
