So, if I'm not being deceived, is it true that Modern Sonic V6 will feature a Spindash? Because that's genuinely really cool. Never knew why Sonic Team removed in favor of a slide.

Yes, he does feature the Spin Dash. There's some footage on YouTube which showcases that plus the Drop Dash as well.

Considering that you can boost after doing it, I guess you could say that. Plus, he can do a drop dash while he's stomping as well.

unfair??? what??? for who? for the public? does the dev team owe you anything? for what? if someone decides to choose a family over a sonic fan game, they'd have every right to! it's not like we inherently "deserve" the mod just because it was announced a while ago. we don't "deserve" mods under any circumstances. the only people who actually sacrificed anything (time and effort) for the mod are the people in any position to cancel it.

I never said about deserving mods, even after all those 3 years. This whole cancelation thing is just a possibility, and we're not sure of that.

really don't like derailing conversations, but this is important in this case, I'm honestly appalled that some people in this thread have implied they care more about a fan-game mod than... giving a literal child the best start they honestly can get in their life, I can understand the disappointment to a degree, but this is a case where I just find it horrible. You all in here need to do better, and thank you C.D for pointing this out.

I never planed in derailing a conversation, it was never my intention! I mean, we all hang out on this community in our free time, right? X Sonic came out ever after the years of uncertainty, hard moments, setbacks, and a bunch of ignoring mean people. Why can't Modern Sonic V6 do the same thing?

I understand that it hurts to see something you like get delayed, But you must understand, Certain things don't come before family.

True fact, indeed. Now I wonder how many mods having to get delayed over family, except for MSV6.

I've created an entire account to come here to say to all the devs of the Modern Sonic V6 team...
Take your sweet time!
This entire project is a huge undertaking, and all the people complaining about release dates are people simply invested in your project. You owe us absolutely nothing, yet you're giving us everything. Take all the time in the world - we have plenty of other entirely free content to consume. These people are dedicating massive amounts of time and energy into this project, and we need to respect them for that. And life gets in the way, so I entirely expect a few more delays. And if the project ends up getting canned, I'm sure the devs will be nice enough to release the unfinished build, and perhaps for another kind soul to come along and finish the project. Props to you, Modern Sonic V6 team.

You do realized that there's no V6.1 at all? They want that version to be the best out of all of them, and I don't blame them.

Oh right, after seeing the footage, it functions just like frontiers (especially with slopes.)

I think that's why it got added, either that or they just thought it was cool.

It was mainly introduced in Mania, although it has been used throughout each game in the franchise. The Dropdash is satisfying to have as an optional setting in V6. I believe it could be both, depending on their choice.

Now that i think about it, what song would the trailer have? Can't be Endless Possibility again cuz that was already used in the announcement trailer.
