The server ALSO has to have Clone Fighter added. (Beware though, he's buggy in netgames.)
 
ugh, it's been about months and a year, yet he STILL hasn't update it in a while, if he can't update it, then somebody has to do a remastering of it, if he really wants to let it rot
 
Okay so... just found out that the spindash SIGSEV also happens on mobile... but it just can't display the SIGSEV and it just closes itself

I really love this update but would have loved to be able to use him in single-player as a normal character :/
(Also would have been nice being able to turn off the transparent effect and that slight flash he has)

Still, I at least like that it has gotten updated. This character did really have a lot of potential.

Congrats, you make him unusable in single player.

I have a skin changer so I can use skin colors in singleplayer, and I can't even get yours to work, I've tried everything I can think of: clonefighter cfighter clonef clone_fighter cf, NOTHING WORKS, I'm not about to be playing on multi-player every single time I want to use this, you should have fixed up the old skin and added the skincolor too.

No need to get aggressive. I do agree removing the character select option was a bad choice if only because it makes him less convenient to use in singleplayer. To get it to work, just do "clone fighter" (with the quotes) and itll work

It could just be an entry on the character select screen that just selects sonic but with the currently set clone fighter color

I was thinking about that too. Maybe give him a different CSS artwork, like the OVA pose Metal Sonic artwork that appears on the credits.

Huh. Seems like using the color select lua doesn't work. Just gives you the color with no transparency and no effects. Try instead of using colsel, doing devmode 1 and then color "clone fighter" (then do devmode 0 to turn devmode off). Also try many minor tweaks

Ok I'll try it, I saw all the speed and jump tweaks, but haven't tried them.

I restarted it and only added the clone fighter skin.
