[Open Assets] Sonic New v1.1e

for a title for a mod that is lazily named "Sonic New", i was expecting one of those unoriginal moveset mods with the same modern movesets all the damn time, but the tutorial for this mod has walter white from breaking bad, literal instant 5 stars

Awesome, as i am on Chrome OS the frontiers ability is kind of laggy, and worse because i'm always forced to use it, maybe make a button to use it while running?

is fantastic and I love it if it had the drop dash it will be 6 stars

Very cool Addon but does it have to be used in 2.2.10? i cant wall jump or wall spin.
EDIT: nvm 2.2.10 is not lagging for me anymore, so now i can play with this mod

Well, not bad. This is a pretty cool addon for those people who likes Sonic with New Abilities, Im surprised how you made an Sonic Frontiers ability here, All my gameplay of him in the SRB2 Vanilla was really fun, 5/5

This mod is pretty cool! I like the nods to Smash Bros with the Spring Jump and Wall Jump, as well as Dash Mode being a nice addition, and a tutorial map was a good idea, too, although I feel like Sonic himself should be doing all the talking instead of some generic tutorial text. But, there's one thing keeping this mod from the 5-star rating: a Super form. It doesn't feel right that Sonic New doesn't have a Super form whereas vanilla Sonic does. I know I complained about this on the Neo Sonic thread, but even then, that one's understandable, whereas this isn't. If you could please give Sonic New a proper Super form in the next update, you'll get your 5 star rating from me.

but uhhh... Why don't you just call him "Smash Bros Sonic" or someting??

This moveset has an excellent flow. It's really fun to schmoove through levels- especially ones like RVZ with low ceilings! (worth noting the ceiling run feels a LOT better when you have antigravity camera flipping turned off)

The spring jump does feel a bit too powerful for how easily you can refresh it- chaining it with walljumps for infinite height feels a little cheesy.

Overall I had a blast trying it out!

Been a smooth minute since the last mod wasn't a first mod or a meme. This actually is really good, i'm pleasantly surprised.

This Sonic is actually pretty cool! He might be a little simple, but he can do alot, plus all his moves are great and flow together really nicely. Though ceiling run is a little jank, but it does its job and can be useful in levels like Red Volcano Act 1. Nice work, Buggie.
