Modern Sonic V5.12 2021-10-13

Was really fun to play with in Vanilla run and some Level packs, but glitches and break in certain parts of custom levels, in Sol sestancia 2 sonic breaks right after grabbing a branch, i couldn't do double jumps and homing attacks and sonic's sprites goes slighty offset to the ground, i still was able to beat the level because of alternate paths, i couldn't play EQUINOX because the game crashes just by killing one enemy probably because of the custom death animations and "corpses" sprites, but besides that, i enjoyed it alot!

This mod is great! Though, hud style 7 apparently can't be selected for some reason. I tried to use it, and it didn't work, but styles 1-6 work perfectly.

Um it looks Awesome but how do i spin dash i am at a level that needs me to spin dash AND I'M PUSHING BUTTONS EVERYWHERE ON THE FREKING KEYBORED pls tell me.

I enjoy this mod cuz I've played with a lot, though I kinda wish there was an option to toggle stomp into a bounce attack like in sa2 or lost world, not sure what mods abilities work with this one, but I still enjoy this mod.

i am having the same issues as the user [name as of now] "drywall', because I can not see the HUD or use the abilities. Please fix this as I really want to boost like X Sonic

And the mod is amazing i just have to Say that hes speed is perfect for speedruns

i can not see the HUD nor use any of his abilities i am unable to find a fix. unplayable, this mod needs an update to fix this issue

I know I'm a bit late to do this, and MSV6 is already coming. But this is just amazing, just incredible. The hudstyles are great and it depicts modern sonic in a almost perfect way. Keep doing the good work until you're ready to release it!

10/10, perfection. Why? Because I CAN DESTROY THOSE DARN RED VOLCANO BIRDS, Homing Attack is perfection when paired with The Air Acceleration Mod, The Boost is amazing for making long jumps. The Trick system is the only one of it's kind I've personally seen to have you mash a button. This mod is perfect for how I like to play.

I've been playing with this mod and I'm finally going to leave a review on it since MSV6 is about to come out.The mod recreates the Boost formula into the srb2 levels as much as it can and it's perfect.Playing as MS is really fun,using the boost feels so good,the freedom of infinite boost from Super Sonic is satisfying that you can keep going fast at incredible speeds.There are better mods like X-Sonic and SA-Sonic but even though that's said,I'm giving this mod a 5/5 but we'll see if it's gonna be better after the 2 said mods once V6 is released publicly!

I honestly have a lot of fun playing with this character, the moment I installed SRB2 (a few months ago) I downloaded this mod, since I've had seen it in some videos and thought it was awesome, I still think the same

But I have a small problem, I've been trying to speedrun with it in GFZ1 and some times when I boost at the start the character just randomly moves where I press the keys? It's not just turning a bit, it just directly changes to that direction untill I stop moving

But overall the mod is good, I preffer it over X Sonic or Adventure Sonic, can't wait for V6's release!!

Modern Sonic Is an Amazing character, and a great speedrunning tool, Boosting and stomping through things are very fun, and the Spritework here is Amazing, tho sometimes theres an addon conflict which doesn't let him boost or stomp.

Alright i get it everyone likes the mod and yea i ALSO love this mod but nowadays when i jump with Modern Sonic he doesnt curl into a ball and straight up goes into spring state until i double jump so if someone can fix it thank you otherwise it is a really good Character

Tbh this is probably the best mod there is for this game. Not to put any others down, but the way Modern Sonic controls more natural then when any other character is ported/created for this game. The best thing to do with this addon is too pair it with the Sonic 2006 Level Pack if you want more open areas to boost through. “Rumors” of a V6 have been spread around though I haven’t heard any official confirmation from anyone, I don’t want to get my hopes up and I’d rather wait for an announcement of some sorts before getting impatient like most of the people waiting for it. Other than that this is a spectacular 10/10!

I really like how this mod plays. However, one thing brings it down for me: sometimes, when jumping, Sonic makes this really weird "huh" sound. It's incredibly offputting.

"I only gave this mod four stars because I was disappointed that the latest version doesn't support it, this issue brings it down by two. It's a shame because this thing because the mod represented modern Sonic so well and its style perfectly fit with SRB2.
