i saw the progress of him, ngl, i expected more new abilities, but this is still outstanding!
also, make so you cant change character in his wait animation.
since the jet fume of his idle stays where u changed + the character will be always floating in the wait animation (except if you touch ground at your level)

Surprisingly good sprites, expected it to just be a basic recolor but he actually has a unique waiting animation! Maybe add just 1 more ability, as the boost dash thingy feels kind of not enough?

The dash mode effect looks really cool, but besides that, this is just a REALLY basic reskin and abilities edit. You removed Metal's slow fall and gave him a forward boost and you stopped him from drowning. That's really it afaict.. Kinda getting tired of these recent character edits, but to each their own.

Welcome to releases! This is honestly a really cool little alternate metal of sorts. The sprite edits are actually fairly competent, and it had loads of little details that really do help to elevate it higher then your standard "existing character + altered moveset" mod. I especially love the idle animation, it genuinely surprised me seeing him just start hovering like that randomly. The fact that the dash adds to your existing momentum instead of overwriting it like the thok does is also a really interesting design choice which I could see being put to great use in a speedrun setting. Really great job for your first mod!
