Really, just an incredibly fun character to play as. I've never read the original comic but Maimy's design is fantastic, I love it! The abilities are very fun to play with, though I accidentally didn't read the explanation of the abilities to understand the mace jump, I somehow thought it was done by hitting the mace to the ground in mid air. My mistake. But the double jump is very fun to use, trying to time out exactly when you'll need to jump to get the height you'll need and not fall on the ground, and the mace jump pairs super well, allowing you to combo into a jet boost for extra height. Very fun! Also this kinda feels like it could be a bug, but I still really enjoyed that I could do it: if you damage boost in CEZ3, you can hit Eggman through the cage, and it just feels like you're ignoring his puzzle and crushing his cage in and hitting him anyway and I think it's really funny. Anyway, all in all, wonderful little character mod.

This is a very good character, oh man. The spike buster jumps synergize perfectly with her rocket boost, combining with dash mode to make her able to skip huge chunks to skip basically any open-ended level with enough practice. Plus, she's cute! Totally recommend Maimy.

well isn't this just the cutest little robot capable of violent spike-based murder! maimy is a really fun experience despite being such a simple character on base level. the mace feels great to swing around wildly, it really makes you feel about as powerful as you would be if you suddenly decided to swing a ball and chain. the rocket boost, while also relatively simple, is super fun. i found myself instinctively holding jump after mace jumps, and it really does become second nature after a while.

maimy is super fun! and super deadly, i might've mentioned that once or twice.

The design is real cute, the sprites are great, the abilities are fun and I had a blast playing through Hakuryu Dojo and Pagoda Peak with this character. Very nice :)

Character is simple and fun. Nothing overly complicated and flat out rewards players who learn to use her moveset effectively.

All emeralds collected. Go play her. :)

All honesty, I've tried out Maimy for the most part and I really enjoy playing as them. The sprites are amazing, the moveset while simple is so good to use, and I just had a really great time with them

Another incredible addition to the hallway of metals!

Maimy's design is super cute and super cool. It does have the issue of not really being a "robotic Amy" in the same way Metal Sonic and Tails Doll are robotic Sonic and Tails, but it really is a great design when judged on its own so it doesn't matter much. My compliments to the designer! I could say something about the spritework here, but that's not really necessary, is it? The little touches were very lovely though: Seeing Maimy mentally picture Amy as a pink Crash Bandicoot got a hearty laugh out of me.

Gameplay-wise I really enjoyed how Maimy kept the theme of "same skills as the base character but twisted" seen in FlyingNosaj's Metal Knuckles & Tails Doll mod. The spikeball serving as Maimy's sidegrade to Amy's hammer works beautifully, even if it was a bit hard to get adjusted to at first (I got hit like 5 times by the GFZ3 boss D:). The chargeable double jump is kind of a straight upgrade, though... Just compare it to Metal Knuckles trading the vastly more flexible climb for the vastly faster Jet Climb. It was certainly fun to abuse, though.

The only complaints I have are that for as a fun as the spikeball is, it makes the CEZ3 boss an absolute difficulty spike, and that Maimy cannot power spring. Power springing is kind of Amy's bag...? Maybe that's what the double jump is for. Neither worth docking even a single star for, IMO. (CEZ3 might be harder but it's still beatable, so...)

The spritework is amazing as always, and her abilities are fun to play with. I can definitely see the potential fun in chaining them together to pull off cool feats. And she's good at countering Metal Sonic, which is always a pro.

She's a really fun and Dynamic character with fun options for getting around maps. I think you did a wonderful job with her and she introduced me to Ponic and Fails, I didn't even know about this little comic.

Maimy is pretty fun to play as, and was very easy for me to become decent with. She can go very fast with her max speed boost, and can jump ridiculously high; it almost feels like I'm playing an OP character such as Sonic Overdrive when she's in boost mode.
However, her being able to do infinite rocket jumps while super makes her stop being fun to play as since you basically just spam rocket jump to fly past everything,
Also, she has great spritework, except her vertical mouth in her goalpost sprite and promotional artwork looks weird, and, iirc, she uses the falling sprite as her rolling rock sprite, though I might've confused that part with another addon.
I give this addon 4/5 stars.
