Many moons ago, my friends and I were playing this game and kept quoting the now iconic LowTierGod rant whenever any of us got the Thunder Shield item.
Now, using the latest developments in spritework and kart technology, this tomfoolery can be embedded into the video game itself.
note that i made this forever ago and only now completed it and am releasing it to the public so if you've seen it before

Please note that some of the add-ons featured in these screenshots are not made by me. It's a lot easier to get screenshots of this specific add-on in multiplayer games, and I don't intend on bugging my friends to play an otherwise completely vanilla game just for a couple screenshots.
This mod depicts Dalauan Sparrow, AKA LowTierGod, a prominent online personality. Please don't bug him or anyone else you don't know about the existence of this add-on.
Feel free to modify and reuse this add-on to your liking, however please do not port this add-on to Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers unless I am absent, since I want to release that add-on myself. Or do, I can't stop you.

- Replaces the Thunder Shield icons with stylized spritework of LowTierGod himself, for both large and small item icons
- Modified sound effects for the full experience ("You should kill yourself-" on pickup, "NOW!" on use)
- A pleasant message in the manual, just for you!
- New! - Now works with Snu's Hitfeed! kind of you, have to load hitfeed first and then this thing

- The modified Blaze HUD sprites are by me, based off a gif me and the same group of previously mentioned friends lol'd at. These sprites are not released anywhere public.
- The bone-shaped circuit is Burning Bone Zone from Dig Pack, by Diggle.
- The characters on-screen are Zero and Terry Bogard, both by dinghy. The others are either from bonuschars.kart or are of my own creation, unreleased.
- The additional FPS styled HUD is Hitfeed by Snu.
