BIKEMOD
Inspired by minenice's Inside Drift, BikeMod is a more balanced take on the mechanic, offering a fluid experience with unique challenges. It is now a library, where it can be used standalone (see clientside command below) but is recommended to package characters alongside it.
MECHANICS:
- Bikes have a tighter drift radius than Karts with identical stats
- Speed conservation scales with spark rate: High speed, low weight characters lose speed on inside drifts faster than low speed, high weight characters.
- Bikes hit are spun out for ~30% longer, depending on their spark rate. However, they also have +50% Accel compared to their Kart brethren.
USAGE:
- Package BikeMod with the character(s) you want to apply it to.
- Load a script after BikeMod containing BikeMod.AddBike()
BikeMod.AddBike({skin = "superhangon"}, {skin = "wheeliemotobug"}, {skin = "crazyfrog"})
Clientside Command:
bikemod_enabled (default Default): Determines if BikeMod physics are applied normally (by referencing the BikeMod character table) or forced on/off, allowing non-Bike characters a new handling model.
Have fun, and enjoy!
