When SRB2 2.3 is released, will Zone Builder update?
No real point, Zone Builder has been left behind and replaced by Ultimate Zone Builder. By the time of 2.3, the community will solely be using UDMF maps, not binary ones.

Can Ultimate Zone Builder edit levels made in Zone Builder? I tried loading a level I'm making on to Zone Builder and I got an error, even though it should have worked. When I tried loading it on to Ultimate Zone Builder (using the "legacy" mode), it worked (with a few missing slopes but I think that they were like that to begin with). Attached is the error I got. Does any one why this error happens or how to prevent it?

Im no expert when it comes to figure out errors like this since I don't really work on the editor myself, but from what I can gather, Zone Builder seems to be having a problem with DirectX, so maybe that's still missing somehow, because even if your Win11 computer already comes with a more recent version of it installed, ZB specifically needs version 9.0, so maybe installing that manually?
Now, the reason the editor is missing some features from is because UZB isn't meant to be used to make ZB maps. To edit binary maps (maps made in Zone Builder) inside Ultimate Zone Builder, you should convert the map to the UDMF format, which is the format that the new UZB editor supports, or else you won't be able to actually take advantage of the UDMF features that binary maps don't have. This guide should help you do that.

I'll have to use this since uzb doesn't work on my pc (is very bad).
