Hello, its me. You probably know Sonic New, Latest Edition and waiting for "Tails New". Well good news! He is done but isnt coming yet. Instead of releasing them separetly im gonna a team where theres a a pack of 3. But you might have noticed that knux and tails have an extra button. And because of that and old code im redoing sonic new while keeping most of his code. Some moves reworked, some removed, some improved and nerfed.

Just like tails and knux he is going to have an extra button and knux and tails are going to have an addition of a partner button.

I dont have much progress on him but i remade dashmode into accelerate
And updated ceiling run and cling code.
Heres some gifs and explanation for accelerate
Accelerate - unlike dashmode it doesnt preserve and takes longer to get speed.
If you lose it you need to start running again.

Doin cyloop but better and more like frontiers. Sprites still suck tho, would be cool if someone helped out with that.
While it got no finish code yet it got some visuals and check code.

Also instead of spamcharge/spamdash or whatever its called i made "Rollout"
Its kinda like roll but it boosts you a bit. When slow it gives a little bit of speed.
If fast enough then just do the thing.

(If you are asking about the slash sprites, yes they are from battle mod and according to the full credits they were pulled from RPG Maker 2003 or something)

with the rollout move, it sounds like you're making sonic more momentum-based
...which is what sonic is meant to be
 
There will also be a bash move from the Ori collection. It just makes you dash from enemies and projectiles.
You can pair it with cyloop to get higher.

Still early W.I.P but it works somewhat.
 
Decided to rework bash because the Ori-like dash is very broken.
Now its: Throw (Release C1), Jump off (Press jump) or Spindash from (Hold spin and release)
I didnt make Spindash yet but got the other 2 working.

the bash reminds me of how the bullet dash was shown in the concept trailer for sonic freedom.
(where it was all an animation mimicking gameplay)
 
While i didnt post anything here i made some changes.
Cyloop now has more Frontiers-like physics.

Added 2 new moves: Quickdash and Control Roll.
Quickdash can give you some speed while walking (Useful for getting bashes after cyloops)
and Control roll is for speed by slopes.

And i made it so you have some nerfs when grabbing players with cyloops or bashes.
To bash a player you need to cyloop them first (In gametypes other than Co-op or in singleplayer)
You can only cyloop enemies, and players can jump out of being cylooped.
If a player was grabbed by bash then they cant do anything, they are done for.

I did some stuff again and i got dig spots! I made 2 sprites for the dig spot icon.

And they are controlled by angle instead of size.

Edit: what do i do with all these "Cool!"s? I need comments! They are atleast interesting to read, than just see another "Cool!"

Kinda like it. A recreation of cyloop is very great (i mean no deltarune explosion cuz it's better with or without deltarune explosion)

So you know that in previous versions he didnt have a normal battle mod support?
Well now he does.

Battle mod ability: Cypunch!
Throw in a punch that will put enemies into a cylooped state.

I think mod is gud enough rn. Its kinda finished but also not, most of the time i have no idea if mod is completed enough.

Anyway its time to show stuff i didnt show before.
I made some code to make them a team and able to switch between.

I removed the grapple button.
And i made stasis from BOTW

Also theres a shield button that does a lot of stuff, like:
Become super as Sonic New.
When super: use float.
When not able to become super and playing as team new: switch.
And when having shield and mid-air use the shield.
And this button also triggers the stasis move.

Super sonic actually has some buffs like being able to flip to the ceiling anytime and wall jump without timings.

Now all that is probably left are tutorials.
