"The Mother" - Rain World Steam activity
I make a silly little thing that is not a character, no idea if it will come out but i have some good progress.

Stuff i made:
Some simple sprites for the TV.
Some crops of player sprites to put in the TV.
Background changing color based on the level (Boss and which zone, but can differ on acts)
Some stuff so that the player sprite changes in the TV (Very smart and stupid code)
Player graphics are actually functions 🤓

Also forgot to mention that you can add custom TVs for different characters.
Also a lot of compatibility stuff so you can add your favorite characters to the mod.

I mean it just stands there on top and just show the sprite that what character is, really boring to people very honest. but it does do something, which gives compatibility
 
I think it should replace the life counter since having both doesn't really make sense, weather that be moving the lives number to the top right or moving the tv to the bottom left

Yeah, more better than just having it on the right top and have nothing but show characters sprite. Agree on that opinion.

The char sprite is kinda just a placeholder since im too lazy to draw something funny. I did draw a boss graphic but its unused now.

these look awesome! i just have one question, are the tv sprites gonna be pizza tower-styled, or are they gonna have the regular SRB2 style?

The TV sprites are the same. But the character inside idk, provably going to keep it like that because im kinda lazy to draw sprites in pt style.

That's great! But can you add custom sprites for the character inside the tv when they get a shield for example: Fire. maybe eggman roasting a marshmallow over sonic's head in the fire shield. Bubble: Sonic,Tails,Knuckles,And amy floating away stuck in the bubble. (NSMBW reference) And last... Electric! Sonic charging up all electrical objects in one sitting. Yeah so the shields act like transformations. (kinda)

You probably can do that! But it is going to require some code.
Because some people might not understand how to do it i am going to add extra support
