Cause its neat, and a nice alternative way to play the game if you’re bored of boost. I hope Shadow will have a drop dash in SXSG. :knuxsmug:

I played cyberspace challange without boosting, only dropdash. :knuxsmug: I will do the same with SXSG on repeat playthroughs! >:3

Also it isn’t messing up anyone’s S rank runs or anything, so I’m not sure why you reacted so harshly. Frontiers DD input is complicated enough and I’m sure that some people haven’t even known that it exists until looking it up.

well you can turn off anything that has any semblance to forces <3c
not the design, we're not changing the design!!!! >:3c
it's based off the Rush-era (2005-2008) boxart!!!

currently, gameplay looks like this:
srb21276.gif

whats newwww???

- reworked trails (thanks dragonbomber!!!) -
additive transparency (the glowy effect yknow? x3c) increments down based on distance, so it now fades away MUCH smoother than keeping the value static across the whole trail!
- more air physics adjustments -
other than tweaks, there's some silly new midair mechanics coming soon!!!
- SPRITE SCALINGGGG AKJSJKFAKLSF -
we fed sonic jello and he just turned boingy.... oops!!! teehee!!! >w<

edit:
TEEHEEE!!!!! >:3c

Modern Sonic V6 change-log.

+Visuals:
-Entirely new sprite-sheet inspired by post-2004 Yuji Uekawa Sonic art, made by MotorRoach & BlueBlur.
-New Trick Sprites made by Zeuvia, BlueBlur and MetalWario64.
-Green eyes! 🤑🤑

+Moveset:
-Perfect Homing Attack: Homing Attacking the enemy when the reticle is green allows you to trick after doing said attack.
-Humming Top: Launches you in the direction you're facing in. It's a trick combo finisher.
-Manual Drifting: Upon pressing pressing Fire, you will go left. If you press Fire Normal, you will go right.
-Ringspeed: Increases your speed when you get more rings. Losing rings does not make you lose Ringspeed.
-Firstie( In-dev name. ): If you hit a wall at high speed you will get bounced off of it. Basically like the wall kick from SM64.

+Extras/Misc:
-Victory Animation.
-This Victory Animation is also the new taunt.

+Resprited/Revamped HUDs:
-All HUDs have been resprited thanks to, Frostiikin, FieryExplosion and more.
-New HUD based of Sonic Unwiished's HUD is getting added.
-Every single one has been revealed except Generations HUD.
-Special combo/action meters for select few HUDs. Combo/Action meter continues when doing actions like tricking, homing attacking, etc.

+Customizable Menu:
-Self-explanatory.
-New voice lines are: Feeling Good! & Feeling Anime!

+Physics:
-Self-explanatory.

+Bugfixes:
-Self-explanatory.

Did you literally copy-paste MY change log on from MY channel? Not cool man, not cool. I wish I can "dis-cool" this. Atleast give credit.

+Inertia:
-The heck is Inertia???
minding the fact u cnp'd someone else's text (not cool!!! but it is just an changelog...)

so what is inertia???
the principle for an object's tendency to resist external forces, typically to maintain a state of rest, or a velocity.
simply put, without it objects would instantly accelerate and decelerate in any direction without effort!!!

why do i mention it in regard to v6's physics??
compared to v5, acceleration and deceleration, both midair and grounded, have been adjusted to be more gradual. chaining actions will no longer have sudden jumps in velocity, unless an action with a high enough force is input (TURNING harshly counts as one too!!! :3). with actions being more uniform across input chains, it's fair to say that 'inertia' exists since sonic resists external forces more compared to his counterpart. applying the idea of inertia to the acceleration part in v6 physics makes it so actions can now chain into each other without compromising your velocity as harshly as they used to <3c.

this DOES not mean you can mindlessly spam moves without penalties, use your moves creatively and with mind how they affect you!!!

So Inertia is like Momentum or smth?

Thanks for the explanation!!
