Will the new version in MRCE be released?
When it's done. Just like every other add-on.

EDIT: I read it wrong, it's not "when", it's "will". But ether way, yes, MRCE will be released, you just got to wait. ALSO wrong thread? I may be wrong on that last sentence since MRCE is using a modified version of the Rebound Dash.

Oh by the way... The original version of the Rebound Dash still uses the old P_Teleportmove function, making the game cry about P_TeleportMove being removed. This can be easily be fixed by using P_MoveOrigin or P_SetOrigin instead of P_TeleportMove. Then again, it's Open Assets. You can easily edit it to replace P_TeleportMove in it's lua. Recommended to clearly state it's a edit on the file name when you host it, So nobody freaks out or something.

Ok. bit rude... but I asked in that thread and was told to ask Krabs which is why I'm asking here.
 
I feel like having a way to not bounce is pretty important. Yes, this ability retains the speed boosting ability of the thok, and with more verticality too. But it is no longer useful for correcting jumps. Hit a wall? You're doomed to bounce. I feel like upon hitting the wall, if you are holding the jump button, you should bounce. But if you simply just tap the jump button, you should just hit the wall and fall as normal- no bouncing.
