Hello, everyone! This is the first time I've posted anything in here, so to properly introduce myself real quickly, my name's Ben. I'm a pixel artist and have been for around 8 years or so, and I wanted to show off what I've been working on for around 2 or 3 weeks?

I've recently started work on a mod pack which introduces characters from Cellar Chateaux's projects into SRB2. Specifically, been working on Kyle and Lucy!

Below is some of what I've gotten done so far. There's more than just what's shown here though. Ideally, I hope to reach the goal of being able to include all 6 characters shown below into one big pack, though I understand that's quite an ambitious goal that may take some time, and I'm prioritizing these 2 for now. (Sondro, Juania, Spike, and Ballast would be an ultimate dream alongside Kyle and Lucy)

I've been told I've been working surprisingly quickly on getting things done, but I admit I don't think I'll be able to do this on my own. Shading these things alone can be awfully time consuming, and animation can be a bit of a struggle sometimes too, so some extra pixel artist hands would be awesome. Coding wise, I been getting some assistance and there's some stuff done, but perhaps assistance there could be appreciated too if applicable.

This looks quite impressive, truly.
I quite liked the demo of Wonderworld.
Much appreciated! That said, while many of the animations are definitely inspired by that demo, I'm going off their current incarnations since that original demo in many ways is severely outdated with the current stuff. Gonna be adding some of my own flair too to make sure that they work in SRB2 as well.

I REALLY like the character designs, very expressive too. Man do they look good :sadthumbsup:
Appreciate the kind feedback! Keep in mind the characters themselves aren't mine, they belong to the team of Cellar Chateaux! I'm simply making them for SRB2 because I've always been quite fond of them.

Many of the animations have been directly inspired by those seen in the original 2018 demo, but considering how old and outdated the demo is in every aspect, as well as to factor in them being viewed from all sides, I've been trying to take some liberties so they look better and more in line with current portrayals. Sondro and co I'll probably need to be even more experimental with since their game, even if far more recent, uses limited NES-styled animations.
 
Oh? Very interesting, never heard of it before. I still appreciate it, especially on how you translate them in SRB2. Keep up the good work :grin:
 
I am unable to assist in any way, Though I'd love to share ideas! I also have a few questions, Like will they have support for battle mod, Milne, X/Cross-Momentum Etc. I wish you the best of luck!
 
I could help with coding if you would like, not really doing much other then making abilities for my sonic ability pack so it would be a nice change of pace
