I think the fourth member of the kinetic team has been waiting too because from the close screen on Sonic Robo Blast 2, it's already a strange thing because it has a picture of Robuster. it's clear that robuster deserves to be in version 3 of this mod

You shouldn't ask the modder when the version will be released.

There is a bug with Dirk in the ring slinger code that causes enemies that have a target to be unable to damage anything except their target. This effects everything when the addons is loaded regardless of whether anyone is actually playing Dirk or not.

More specifically it is in lua/dirk/Ringbattle.lua line 940.
I'm not entirely sure but I believe the all of the return false calls around that line were intended to return nothing instead.

Sorry I wasn't entierly clear. It is in the ringslinger lua script but it effects ALL gamemodes including Singleplayer/Co-op where it definitely does matter.

This bug is still in this addon. Since the addon has been updated the offending code has moved to line 1110 of lua/dirk/Ringbattle.lua. The fix for this issue is really simple, all that needs to be done is to change some of the the return false segments in the function to plain return. I would like to be able to host with these characters, but this bug can effect gameplay quite significantly. I hope this can be fixed if there is ever another update.

One of the messages I didn't snip mentioned Dirk bothering Kart Krew members to get into their discord, and this issue of Dirk bugging KK members and trying to replicate RR sprites isn't a new one.
Don't just assume KK likes to ban users for slight offenses, this case was a very justified one.

one- how and why has a fan made racing spinoff somehow integrated itself into the main message board despite its more Nintendo-like behavior
and two- why does sonic and tails look more like 2.1 than 2.2, and who thought modern Amy was ever a good idea.

1. Srb2kart is played by quite a lot of people compared to regular SRB2, and both games share devs from both games. It would make sense that both games would be integrated into the MB.
2. Srb2Kart V1.x was built off of SRB2 2.1, so it makes sense that the characters would look similar to their 2.1 counterparts.
As for Modern Amy, this is a result of the BonusChars addon included with Kart, which includes many community-made characters.

In case you're still wondering, we have a rule that states "Please don't replicate features or assets seen in previews". Dirk broke that one, multiple times. If you have more questions, you should ask a Moderator as I don't have a full grasp of the situation.

I find it funny that he was upset about people stealing his (probably stolen) characters.
and kart sonic has a design distinct to himself, like an alternate mirror of main srb2 sonic.

Kind of a strange attitude, ngl. Are you forgetting that like, not only do STJr and Kart Krew share a lot of developers, but everyone is literally friends? It looks like you're fairly new, so consider this perspective:

You might think there's some hostility or competition, but in actuality most members of STJr and KK have been around the SRB2 community for 10+ years. It's not uncommon for me to see Sev, Nev3r, VelocitOni, MotorRoach, and Jeck just... watching a movie together or something.

So when you ask how kart ended up on the message board, the answer is just cuz "Sonic Team Junior was invested in it and wanted it there." I fail to see the problem with that?

Anyhow, here's a cap (all the way back from 2020 even!) of Dirk trying to get Lach (who was new to Kart Krew at the time) to leak him indev sprites he was trying to trace. This just shows how far back it goes. He was told to stop ripping off other people's work on a few occasions, but he doesn't seem to have cared in the end.
