Looks like this is just because you have battlemod loaded and active.

Last i remember, battle ablities dont reset upon gametype change..... assuming you did that.

I meant that ability from the Battle Mode. Flame Boost + Burst Drive. I mean, is it a bug or not?

I feel like it probably is. I mean, you can PARRY while boosting. Reminds me of how Metal could parry and still be in dashmode for a moment at some point, and I believe that was patched out. I wouldn't be surprised if this got patched out as well.

Instead of making someone a really interesting character, or at least interesting and new mechanics, the community, as usual, will make another Sonic characters. Since you love making them, WHY NOT MAKE BIG THE CAT, HUH? Even some joke character like Steve from minecraft will be more interesting than your weak Tanooki Yoshi and purple Taz the Tasmanian Devil with fire.
For example, there is a Piroli the Butterfly. He's interesting to play as because you feel like you're playing a BUTTERFLY and not a reskin of Sonic with new abilities. Someone even create the Pig from Bad Piggies with the mechanics of the structure of their car. You just reskinned old Blaze mod and Yoshi.
The future of custom characters in SRB2 is unknown, but while mods like Marine and Blaze are popular, it looks like it's going to be bad.

Look man. We get it your man because you want something new some better etc etc but i've you tried searching for mods for this game and or srb2kart somewhere else? Cause they are out there if you take the time to reach it and not cry about a mod not fitting to how YOU wanted it. Dude if you want better mods then has you said *a reskin of sonic with new abilities* maybe I need to tell you about the Super Mario mod? , the Kirby mod , the Meta Knight , The Steve mod is pretty good , what about the Boo mod? , Did you try the Kamek mod? , Don't forget the Plague knight mod and n64 Mario mod , Yoshi mod , Bowser mod oh and the Spyro the Dragon mod , Pac-man mod oh oh oh and don't forget the kid , the samus mod , among us imposter mod , Henry stickmin , super meat boy mod , kanade tachinbana mod , the srb2 persona mod , flicky , duke nukem , the eggpack mod that adds eggman. to name a few great mods you should check out.

I totally love the mod!, but, could you make blaze work with the footsteps mod? the one from Gomynola, (if you can, of course)
