THIS WAD MUST BE LOADED AFTER BATTLE MOD FOR ALL OF IT TO WORK PROPERLY

Since the next update for battle wont be for a while here's a little unofficial balance patch I made for the base 6 characters. It consists mostly of buffs so if you feel that the base characters needed to be stronger or just want to spice things up a bit give this WAD a try.

New mechanic as of 1.1
WALL COMBOS
When someone is hit into a wall at high speeds they will tumble off the wall leaving themselves open to another attack.

New mechanic as of 1.2
When a projectile is parried will now tumble the attacker if within parry's effect range.

SONIC

-Thok's speed is tied to a cool down the more you use it the slower it becomes the less you use it the faster it becomes.
-Thoking at high speeds leaves behind thok turbulence which other players can collect to gain a speed boost.
-Its possible to multi-thok if thoks's speed is high enough.

Super Spin jump
-Sweet spot attack increased form 2 to 3.
-Cool down reduced.
-Added some invulnerability frames on startup.

Ground Pound
- Sweet spot attack increased form 2 to 3.
- Cool down is only applied when the floor is reached (unless you couldn't pay the ring cost).
- Added some invulnerability frames on startup.
- Landing a direct hit with ground pounds grants a few frames of invulnerability.
- Added invulnerability frames to ground pounds drop dash.
- Ground pound's drop dash thrust speed increased.

New ability: Spin Wave
cost: 10 rings, cool down: 1.5 seconds
activation: on ground, charging a spin dash at least halfway.

Unleashes your spin dash charge as a projectile, it can pierce threw multiple enemies.

TAILS

Tail Swipe
- Added a hit box in front of Tails said hit box is vulnerable to parry.
- Added some invulnerability frames on startup.

Flight Dash
- Added some invulnerability frames on startup.

KNUCKLES

-Exhaust time doubled.
- Now has a defense of 1 from the front while running at high speeds.
- Can now glide after being bumped out of a jump.

Dig
- Added a hit box at the start of the rising dig attack said hit box is vulnerable to parry, this hit box can attack players out of invincibility/super (as seen in Sonic 3).
- can now glide after landing a direct hit with drill dive.
- drill dive now has a sweet spot attack of 3.
- can now glide after canceling dig.
-preserves momentum better when used from a spin dash.
-time needed to stay underground before being able to perform dig actions reduced.

New ability: Explosive Punch
cost: 10 rings, cool down: 1.4 seconds
activation: on ground, not rolling.

Throws an explosive (parry breaking) punch, he is completely vulnerable during the wind up (but at least you can jump), really puts the knuckle in Knuckles.

AMY

- Her basic hammer attacks now has a hit box said hit box is vulnerable to parry.
- Can now twin spin after being bumped out of a jump.
- Amy's Piko hearts drop spin fire if she has an elemental shield.

Piko Spin
-Now has some invulnerability at the start of the attack.

Re-added Piko Tornado
cost: 10 rings, cool down: 3 seconds
activation: when hammer is at full charge.

FANG

- When shooting on the ground Fang can alter the trajectory of his shots using the strafe left, strafe right, and backward keys.
- Fang's corks drop spin fire if he has an elemental shield.
- Can now air popgun after exiting tail bounce.

METAL SONIC

-Added base ability Ring Spark Field (original made by CloneFighter)
activation: press spin while hovering.

Gains near impenetrable defenses at the cost of speed the spark field will damage or ensnare anyone in range Metal has no defense during the startup.

Energy Attack
- You can tap spin again during Dash Slicer to skip to the rising part of the attack.
- Energy blast projectile speed doubled.
