aight so its been uh...

...bout 3 million years since the last update, so uh
i wanted to just post some quick progress updates to pass the time

Sprites:
so as u might know from the srb2 discord, ive been cookin up some new sprites, and these fuckers look cleaner than ever lol

king:

Mechanics:
some extra shit has been added/altered in the upcoming version

woken king movesets:
if ur woken (super), then in the corner of the screen, u will see text saying 'ball', and u will have kings normal moveset. press c1, c2, and c3 and the text will change to fly, and u guessed it, u can fly just like the old woken king

bounce:
so uhh the bounce code has been completely, and i mean completely, redone, and some new shit has been added to it, such as the ability to use the armageddon shield when u land, and u wont rebound if u break a floor

the bounce cancel:
u ever been in a water level, ur about to drown, but u accidently bounce and you cant land to get that one bubble right in front of u? well that problem basically wont exist anymore, coz if u press jump from a bounce in the upcoming version, u will lose all momentum, and will not rebound upon touching the floor. also if u bounce cancel by accident, u can still bounce out of it

so ye, not that much left to do really, gotta do more sprites, and then its basically done

aight so funky had kind of an overhaul design wise, with a new skincolor and new animations lol (mostly t-poses)

but funky isnt the only character with some new shit, coz all the other characters got new wait animations too, (except freezer and king, those waits were already final) with their actual designs lmao

also uh i got new run dust, credit to kirb, the same guy who made the old one lmao







and i fixed rolljump lock happening for everyone pp
so i added some more effects lol

1- faker's double jump has a dust effect (works while swimming)

2- funky has more dust

3- king's thak has a sparkle effect

4- billy's zap has a sparkle effect

5- woken king and billy (in dashmode) have flashing sparkle effects
aight so basically i kinda released beta 11, but on discord, as the mb was down at the time
its back now so im releasin beta 12 lol

1- Fixed rolljump lock
(by this i mean the weird bug after jumping from a roll where u cant turn)

2- Gave Freezer a new ability
Instead of Metal Sonic's float and a weird wind shield jump, Freezy's Iceboard now goes up, kinda like iclynn's ability

3- New opposite colors
The Hedgebois all had bad opposite colors so i picked better ones lmao

4- Fixed Fly glitch with Woken King
Holding Jump and Spin at the same time as Woken King was fucked up, so i just made him fly up if that happens

5- I FORGOT SUPER TRANSFORMATION SPRITES FUCK-
THEY EXIST NOW LESS GOO
woken king can fucking fly less gooooo






also freezy is renamed to freezer, the wait animations are cool, and sol king has been recolored to differentiate him from woken king

so basically the spamdash has been edited so that if u press spin after a spamdash, instead of uncurling, u do another spamdash

also i finally managed to make jetski support, so rushchars is now fully supported yey
me and a good friend of mine, rk, (a.k.a the creator of T-Pose Luigi), are makin some shit in development, and i got some shit i wanna show yall

if u didnt know already, im planning to iron out just about every bug i can find before i add the sprites, these bug patches being the vBETA.X releases, but i do have some mockups of what the sprites may look like in the future:

now, i do get these sprites might still look similar, and could get confusing in multiplayer, but i have an idea on how to fix that issue so try not to worry too much

thats about it for this lil progress update, i might do more lil thingys like this as theres not much updates left for thb other than mod support and sprites
