This mod has great sprites and great abilities. I only have 2 problems with it. If you "charge" via spindash, it quits the spindash. You can just jump out of the spindash so I honestly don't know why it exits the spindash. You can't (at least within my experience) preform a homing attack if your "charged" i find this somewhat of a problem but all this may come off as nit-picking. Either way this is a fun mod and I would recommend anyone download this.

Very fun to move around and play, it feels good being able to both double jump and homing thok, and i love being able to just sorta squish in the air if there are no targets nearby. can't wait to see how this progresses.

Very good character!
She's fun to use and I feel like she stands out from the other characters, although I do have a "complaint" regarding the balance.

The character's most notable abilities are Volt Jump and Volt Dash, movements that generate fast and dynamic gameplay, but that must be recharged through a Homing Attack or Spin Dash.
I understand that the point is to chain all these mechanics to always keep you moving, whether vertical or horizontal, relying on the Homing Attack to always be able to use a Volt movement.

But I personally feel that it is not entirely satisfying to use, since it is too easy to always keep yourself in the air by chaining attacks without thinking anything.

The fact that Volt moves are charged with a simple Homing Attack detracts from the Volt moves themselves. It becomes a mechanic without cons, which can be spammed.

Also, it makes senseless to be able to charge Volt moves with a Spin Dash, why would you spend a few seconds charging it if you already have it with a single Homing Attack? There are certainly parts of the game without enemies to do Homing Attack but it doesn't take away from the fact that one option is a thousand times better than the other.

Therefore, I think it would be an interesting idea if Volt moves required 3 Homing Attacks to charge.
It would reduce agility and mobility, but it would give the skills a more strategic factor, because the player would have to think about when to use a volt movement and when not to.
In addition to returning importance to the fact of charging these movements with a Spin Dash.
Simply put, it would be a way to balance the mod.

In any case, Surge the Tenrec remains on my list of playable characters, because all the rest of the work regarding her is very well done!

Always nice to have more side-media Sonic chars represented. The spritework is quality stuff, as well as the sound design - the different sounds and effects for charging a spin dash were a nice surprise.
While the abilities themselves are are fun enough to use, and having to upgrade to keep the stronger variants is a cool concept, I feel it doesn't quite come together as well as it could. The second-tier abilities feel more like an alternate set of moves than straight upgrades (the enhanced double jump sacrifices mobility, etc) which paired with how easy it is to restore charge, makes the whole mechanic feel inconsequential.
If I were to recommend changes, it'd be to have the second set of abilities feel like something you have to maintain having access to, rather than something you switch on and off for different parts of a stage.
