Hey folks, it's been a while. Rest assured I have finally something for you, here's a big one.
Not too long ago, May 28th marked 2 years of RuberPack, and was shortly made after the first release of Ring Racers.
Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers is a really cool game that influences originality and fanwork alike whether the gameplay is flawed or flawless. Care, time and sweat has been poured into a free product for several to enjoy, and over two years ago, had been released (although with not the best first impression) and continues to carry its own spark and identity developed by Kart Krew and their associates. Without them, this game and what creators add on to it wouldn't be here today. Thank you, Ring Racers
That being said, here's something I've been working on for sometime, considering the fact I lost several weeks worth of progress just before this release. But, thanks to members of the community what was lost was mostly recovered, and now further progress was made. Thank you so much for your support and feedback, here's version b10.

Firstly, I want to apologize for the abrupt delay with then update. Having some internet trouble on my end, but rest assured things are okay now. I want to thank RedDasherCAS (creator of the CASTrackPack) for coming through and helping with this upload, or this update would not be here.
Alrighty anyways, 9.0 was pretty decent I'd say but because nothing is perfect, here's an update:

Fortune Forge
- So I don't know why this happens but... Fortune Forge crashes upon loading the individual .zips files, but runs fine on the .pk3 bundle and I have looked into to messing around with it all over, and I have no clue what's up. So I made the unfortunate decision to remove it from the individual zip files. You can play it if you get the pk3 however.

Happy New Year folks, it's been a while but... a massive update is here! I want to first give a big shout-out to those who have played RuberPack and Ring Racers in general, whether on your own or on stream. It's always fun to see new players experience various maps especially custom ones. Also to the Discord for testing and KKD devs for putting out what we play today.
Without further ado, here's what's new:
Overall
- With the upcoming release of Ring Racers version 2.4 and it's new capability of reaching 200MB of data sharing online, RuberPack is now 2.4 compatible.
• RuberPack will now include a full ".zip" folder including a ".pk3" of every map, character and follower this has to offer bundled into one file, including optional add-ons you may or may not wish to in theclude during gameplay.
• For those sticking with Ring Racers version 2.3 and playing online, the 50MB file sharing method will also remain as an option for you as well via ".zip" file.
Characters
- All RuberPack characters (with the exception of "Baphomoar") have new voice clips from various pieces of media (each credited in their respective category on the main page). Previously, I composed and recorded my own voices and sounds for them because it was cool and fun, but I think the magic has worn off and that actual Voice Actors would suit audible characters better.
Followers
- The name of the follower category for the included followers has been updated from "Wonder" (when Wonder Cup first released) to "RuberPack".
Maps
- All maps now have prepared compatibility, and collectables with Ring Racers version 2.4.
- New Time Trial times have been added and are highly encouraged if you want a challenge (However, this also means 2.3 times are no longer available in this update).
- Looping points in various music tracks have been fixed and improved.
- Collectables have been fixed, updated and adjusted.
• All race maps should now have Spraycans and Medals to collect.
• Certain Spraycans and Medals in race maps also had their height fixed so that collecting them is less of an issue.
• Collectable Comic Books exclusive to RuberPack have been updated to work without the needs of a per-level sector and work more efficiently.
- Order of maps according to the SOC file are now properly in order.
• Solar Stroller and Twinkle Cart have switched places and the ordering for Miracle Cup tracks have changed order. This makes Miracle Cup a set of races where all of its race and battle maps are references to Sega and Sonic games.
- Optimized ".pk3" files by removing several unused textures.
- All RuberPack and SRB2Kart based maps now have their logos at the starting line per map.
• All maps pertaining to the Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 series now have new custom start line banner logos reminiscent of those games.
- Certain maps now have updated Fog and Colormap effects.
- Maps that did not have a unique Encore palette now have one.
- Various maps now have objects despawn when played online to assist with gameplay framerate.

Boomerang Battleship
- Fixed extra "space bar" typo hidden within the map name.
- Toned down the strength of the dash rings near the location of the spraycan/medal so players don't launch over the platform unintentionally.
-Fixed one of the ring capsules near the first half loop being small sized for unknown reasons.
- Added a U-turn side path as an alternative option where the player would normally have to do a 180 turn immediately.
- Added a "Block Players" linedef behind dash rings in the last tripwire area prevent players from flying over the shortcut.
- Tweaked the second half-loop so that players will less likely be punished for entering into it while driving close to the walls.
- Minor texture additions and fixes.
Wishing Wonders
- Player/object scale has changed from 1/5 to 9/40, meaning the level is now slightly smaller and paths and are less wider. As a result, the bots have now become slightly harder as intended thanks to them being able to recognize waypoints faster due to the size change (presumably).
- New custom Sky Texture for both versions.
- Fixed a crucial oversight where respawn barriers were placed accidentally on the main path where players need to drive.
- Added dash panel at the start of the first turn for players to wavedash around it easier.

- Fixed an oversight where bots would fail to trick forward at the trick panel section.
Twinkle Cart
- Moved from Amazing Cup to Miracle Cup.
- The total lap count is now only 1 lap, due to the way 2.4's item and gameplay balance adjustments have affected the game based on checkpoints and lap placements. Dynamite Derby mode implementation still works despite 2.4 changes.
- CPUs now stop in front of the Position beam properly (although due to the implementation of level looping in this map, one or two of the CPUs will remain confused at the start. I did what I could to try and prevent that, please understand fixing this bug with implementation was already difficult).
- Various texture fixes and adjustments.
Pleasure Castle
- Updated the Yellow balloon to only show up during Grand Prix type races and also to work with 2.4 due to additional items being added (meaning that it may not work as promised with 2.3)
- The explosion effects from the explosion barrels have been toned down.
- Various changes and balances to ring and item capsules.
Death Chamber
- Fixed a waypointing bug where CPUs would drive in small circles indefinitely.
SG-1000
- The skybox texture is now translucent/darkened so players can focus more on the playing field.
Sea-Saw
- Implemented boss HP bar with a proper "WARNING" alert HUD with sound effects when introduced to the Slam Clam.
- Ballhogs being spit out by the clam now explode behind you due to item functionality changing for version 2.4.
- Fixed an invisible solid FOF being activated when completing the boss, causing the player to be softlocked if circumstances were met.
- Fixed graphical errors on Slam Clam's eyes when its shell is open.
Not gonna call this 8.1 since these changes (although VERY important) aren't that big enough to make the number go up...
Anyways:
Maps
Wonder Cup
Storage Sputter
• Fixed a game crash related to a colormap sector and ACS coding.
Miracle Cup
Toxic Caves
• This is actually a slight warning, rather than a bug report, but there's still a rough issue while playing Toxic Caves online and is being looked into.
Amazing Cup
Twinkle Cart
• Minor texture adjustments and fixes.
