As if ripped straight out of Doomsday Zone, if that Ring counter hits 0 it's game over! It's important to gather as many rings as you can, speaking of gathering rings.

Hyper Sonic has a few new ways to stay alive, which they include:
- Damaging badniks will grant Hyper 4 rings per hit.
- Hitting a boss will grant Hyper 6 rings per hit.
- Sneakers Monitor will grant Hyper 3 rings per hit.
- Some Shield Monitors will grant Hyper 5 rings per hit.
- Invulnerability Monitor will grant Hyper 7 rings per hit.

Since Hyper Sonic has Singleplayer support, This one let's him to be a god by not letting him not drain his rings. Which is really it, But you can modfied him to have it. If you wanna, because that's really it.

bro dies on impact of spikes, is a ripoff of an already existing mod. you should AT LEAST make this have something original, like some sort of "hyper mode" where you are given a set amount of time until it ends, and within that process to collect rings and defeat badniks or something.

overall, bad mod, bad reskin.

He can still take damage and die for some reason, im not even worrying about the missing directional dash I want, but the invincibility.
The nuke thok is good, but it needs complete invincibility to be played as he's supposed to be: invincible to anything except pits and crushers

I'm surprised this character wasn't flagged for plagiarism; the Overview page of this submission is ripped from Icezer's Super Sonic mod, and the CSS even uses the same text and artwork. It makes no attempt to have an identity of its own.

The character as a whole is very underwhelming and is something you'd see out of an early 2.1 Character. It's literally just a Super Sonic with a multicolour skin, some sparkles and weaker thok that can Armageddon Blast; he can't even breathe underwater or do the Directional Dash.

I can't really think of any positive notes to say. I suppose the Hyper skincolour looks nice, but that's all I can really think of, unfortunately.

This has serious potential, it really does, and I can see this becoming a fun character to play as with the right updates, additions and tweaks, but unfortunately with the way it currently is, it's just not worth playing as it doesn't bring anything new to the table.

I clearly missed the breathe underwater... Whoops, that's my fault ok. Yes some of the additions and tweaks will be fixed after all, as this isn't what I call. Best project yet to this date, as am still learning so this couldn't have been not release if I released something else better.

its basically just the super sonic mod but slower and less features, and theres a stupid bug that takes away the ONE favorite thing about super/hyper, the invincibility, cuz whenever i get hit by ANY environmental hazard, I lose all of my rings, causing me to die instantly.
i take back what i said earlier, its fucking garbage.
it's even worse than super sonic, and it doesn't even have the one favorite about hyper, the directional dash.

I literally thought you would think this would be amazing, though yes it was more than a grabage project I got through. Even though releasing it would be fine, because I didn't care because I already might just leave it be for once. I saw that this was even worst than I expected to, I am so sorry for ruining this. I might just keep updating for to fixed things, I don't know if am able to borrow the code from super sonic, but I could. I might also just reuse a code from it's addon from 2 years ago.

Sorry, but this is literally just the super sonic addon with a bunch of flashing colors and a ugly spark effect that blocks my view, as well as less features! You didn't even bother to add the directional dash, one of the main things that makes hyper sonic differ from super sonic. I don't consider this a hyper sonic mod

Ok starting off, yes I clearly am sorry about the sparkles and flashing colors, I try best here. and I try my best to recreate this character for the most of the reason, I will also add in the directional dash to fixed this issue. Sorry about that, I clearly was trying my best. Also, I did legit regrat doing this sorta thing in the first place anyway.

this sure is Hyper Sonic in SRB2; it does what it's meant to gameplay-wise. My only complaints are the CSS and the signpost sprite. Why not just use vanilla Super Sonic's signpost sprite? As for the CSS, I could try making something if you'd be interested. (Or just... idk recolor an existing official super sonic render lol)

Besides the CSS art, it is indeed Hyper Sonic in SRB2. Could swore another Super Sonic mod does the same ring drain mechanics as this, but that's okay.

In my original review, I was upset about the ring drain, but it does nothing, that's nice. maybe have the nuke thok be tied to ring amount. (Having any amount of rings gives you the ability, but no rings = no thok, but if you do decide to have the kill version, at least there is the current version
