Just a small update with a few changes

Mighty Stadium:
  • Removed slope physics from some slopes that weren't supposed to have them
  • Rearranged the last item set

Mystic Museum:
  • Fixed two deathplanes that were supposed to be offroad (Thanks to Yoshi and SuperChrim for letting me know about this)
After a half-year with no new track releases in this pack, this update delivers Mystic Museum Zone

Next to that, this update contains a few hotfixes done by Alufolie91:

- Moved all freeslotting from lua to soc, as the lua freeslotting caused alot of issues
- Fixed a warning in the sawblade lua, also added the missing sawblade sound
- Fixed "XXXXXX Constant could not be parsed" warnings

And as usual, there's also a few changes to the other maps:

Lakeview City:
- Fixed a badly placed checkpoint
- Replaced solid grass midtextures with chevrons
- Improved readability on the jump after the start
- Fixed music loop

Malachite Rainforest:
- Added arrow sign at first turn
Minor update done mainly to reslot Mighty Stadium to MAPWR, due to the Pro Pack now having a map using MAPWT. There are a few changes to go with this:

MIGHTY STADIUM:
  • Reworked the start cut
  • Tweaked the map's encore palette
  • Redid the Time Attack ghost, due to the old one's replay now being unwatchable

MALACHITE RAINFOREST:
  • Added in a missing deathplane
A lot of new content is added in this update. The main additions are two new tracks: Lakeview City, and an all new version of Mighty Stadium.

The original Mighty Stadium (with the slope physics enabled) now shares a file with Nuclear Speedway.

More features this update comes with include:

Changes to Malachite Rainforest:
  • Moved the player starts backwards to add more breathing room at the starting straight
  • Removed the guardrails after the first turn on the cliffside section
  • Changed encore palette
  • Added more item boxes to the item sets
  • Map visual tweaks, such as decreased brightness on outdoor sectors

Other features:
  • Added record attack ghosts, featuring community characters
  • Map pack is now reusable
This is a major update to the map pack, featuring an all new course: Malachite Rainforest Zone

With that said, this update says farewell to the Nuclear Speedway course, because that course has become obsolete in comparison to the other maps. More specific details are listed on the main page. For archival purposes, the course can still be downloaded in a standalone file.

And finally, I moved the version of Mighty Stadium with the slope physics on the dirt bumps disabled into the main pack, since I've really grown to find that version superior to the original. For now, the version with the physics enabled has been removed from the downloads. I also added a drop in the road after the halfpipe, since you could turn around at about 40% into the course and get a faster lap time doing that than by actually completing a lap (How embarrassed I am for not finding this out earlier.)

Well, that's all for this update.

Hey everyone, this is just a small update mainly consisting of changes to Mighty Stadium, mostly gameplay changes. Here is a list of changes to the map in this update:

  • The first section of the map, the spiral and hairpin, has been cut out of the map and replaced with a new section, as the original first section was awkward and not very good for a first set of turns in a map.
  • The second set of items has been moved forward a little so it doesn't come right before the split path box. The first set has also been moved to fit in the new section of the track.
  • The first 6 checkpoints have been reworked for the new first section. Also, 2 other new checkpoints have been added to the map on the unchanged portion of the track.
  • The two optional Sneaker Panels on the ramp section are now parallel to each other, instead of the right one blindly coming before the left one.
  • And finally, I've made an alternate version of the map that disables the slope physics on all the dirt bumps that can be jumped off of (Although the appearance of these bumps remain unchanged), for anyone who didn't like them. Add on the No Jumps file after adding the main file to replace the main version of the map with the alternative.
  • The No Jumps version of the map also comes with it's own Encore music, which was supposed to be the original Encore music before it got changed to what was supposed to be the map's regular music. I've already made the loop on the music file and got it to sound good in game, so why let it be unused?
In addition to the changes on Mighty Stadium, I have replaced the Ogg music file used as Nuclear Speedway's regular music with the original module version of the tune, as it was 37 times smaller in filesize.

That's it for this update
This is a major update to the pack, featuring an all new track. Drawing inspiration from the Wario & Waluigi Stadium courses from the Mario Kart series, this update introduces track number 2 of the pack: Mighty Stadium.

Changes to already released courses:

Nuclear Speedway:
  • Increased the stage's Encore Mode music a little, as I thought it was too quiet compared to the normal music
  • Added a finish line banner to the track
I hope you enjoy the new track!
This is a minor but important update to the Nuclear Speedway map, fixing the boss waypoints on the map. Long story short, I was confused about how to number the waypoints and got them horribly off number, so I updated the map with the waypoint numbers fixed. This update needs to be downloaded in order to get a functioning race on the map.
