Ever felt like Sonic's ankles should've shattered when falling down that pit in THZ2?

No?
Well, they do shatter now!

Any time you go faster than 30 fracunits per tic down (e.g. when launching off a red spring) and land, you'll suffer.
Robots can't stand a chance against this either. Unless you use the hover.

Nojumpspin characters (such as Fang) will suffer from fall damage even more, since they can't land as good as Sonic can.

So if you want to feel like Duke when playing SRB2, but don't want to play as Duke, this simple script is your go-to tool. Have fun.

On itself, that's quite the challenge. It's practically impossible NOT to take Fall Damage after THZ1. But losing all of the rings in a fall is quite disappointing.

If someone has the same problem as me, I recommend the ringkeep.pk3 addon. It gives extra realism to the base game and combos into this one, making it a lot more bearable.

EDIT:
As I said in my review, losing all of the rings just because you fell too hard is not that good. One thing I suggest is the following: instead of damaging the player if they go down at more than 30 fracunit, you could make the player lose a certain percentage of their rings depending on the height of the fall, but never losing more than, idk, 50% of the rings. And, maybe, if the fall is not THAT big, just play the damage animation without actually damagin the player.

This would make playing with the mod a more immersive and realistic experience while still leaving it fun to play.
